Providence as a whole is extremely incompetent these days and it shows. A typical phone call to this clinic goes like this. You call to make an appointment or speak to someone in the office, and you are placed on hold for 30+ minutes. Another 15 minutes pass, and you wait another 15 minutes. Congratulations, after being on hold for 1 hour, you are immediately cut off by the phone and when you try to call back, you just realized they are now closed for a 2-hour meeting. Such a disappointment.

Every time I call this location, it takes about 20 minutes to a half hour for someone to answer. Is this just a normal day in the life of this location or is it due to a current shortage of staff? In any case, I do hope it straightens out at some point.

Finally found a weight-neutral, size-inclusive, and Health at Every Size informed PCP! Dr. Black is great, she has excellent bedside manner, is a good listener, and takes the time to discuss all my concerns and treatment options.

My co-pay is decent, the front desk is friendly and organized, all nurses have been great. My main doc is Staci Eskesen. I’ve also seen Victoria Murrell and a few others I can’t recall. Both Staci and Victoria are wonderful. They’re extremely quick, efficient and accurate. The worst experience I have is not actually having a legitimate problem as I thought and having to pay anyway, but that’s America for you. This place will see me the day I call if I really need it. I’ve rarely waited in the waiting room for more than a few minutes, even on days I drop in randomly. It’s pretty good overall I’d say. And cheaper than a private practice doc for sure.
