They overcharged for my 15 minute virtual visit where Dr Wheeler simply filled out my health history even though I previously filled it out online. And then he says sure he’d recommend proceeding with the in-home sleep test. I filed a complaint with my insurance company and per their requirements, the physician charged for an hour long visit even though it was a 15 minute call. So now the insurance claim rep is doing an investigation to hopefully correct it and keep fraudulent things like this from happening again. I proceeded with the in-home study and completed it weeks ago, and still no call from Dr. Wheeler’s office. I had to call and ask for my results and then they proceeded to tell me that an in-lab study is recommended. It seems kind of like the at home test was just a waste of money and time. Not happy with this office but unfortunately there are not a lot of other options.

The zoom meeting was open and covered my need to have my CPAP machine adjusted to have a variable pressure adjusted to work between 9 and 16. The specialist agreed and ordered the adjustment be made with the follow through in the future to see how I do after the machine adjustment. The doctor's understanding was much appreciated.

Met with Dr. Pooyna years ago to evaluate sleep study. Received a cpcp machine, followed-up in 6 month.. Very thorough, competent and caring. Had a virtual visit last month to check in and get a new prescription to get new hoses through insurance. Dr. Pooyna took time, not rushed. Felt cared for. She is very knowledgeable and explains things well as we reviewed my recorded information from my CPAP machine
