My friends and I bike from Coxsackie down to this park a few times a month. Great place to sit and relax for a few minutes before continuing on our bike ride. I have a friend that lives and Athens and we have met here a number of times during the covid problems to have a cup of coffee and chat.

What's not to like? Free concerts in the park, lawn chairs are allowed, Cigar Vendor, Iron Horse Cigar Depot on the premises, Oh, and did I mention FREE concerts in the park every Friday night at 7pm. Except July 13. Here's a copy of our Athens Performing Arts Corp Summer Concert Series schedule.
