This is a great little park not far from downtown Burlington. It has a nice little playground, an open area, trails, and a cool tower that's an easy hike up to the top of the hill in the park. Unfortunately the tower was gated closed when we were there (Nov 2022). Maybe because if weather, working about ice, or maybe COVID? Who knows. Either way, it was a great place to visit. I recommend making the stop if you're in town.

Very beautiful spot. The park was very clean and my favorite part was the tower which is very kid friendly and only a half a mile to hike. The climb up was safe and the views were spectacular!

This place is really beautiful. The tower is closed due to covid but I can’t wait until it’s open again. It’s a short hike up to the tower and board walk. There’s a children’s park at the base of the trail unfortunately some creep was there with a metal detector so we decided to skip that. Wonderful views at the top. A lot of Vermonters I knew hadn’t heard of it.

It was a walk of choice, there was steep stone woodland walking trails, along with an easy trail walk with resting boards across the trails up to the tower. Which is super cool. Only had my phone for photos but it really was a breaktaking view from the top of the tower. My walk back seemed like an adventure having choices to take enchanting & inviting off the trail ways weaving around the woods. After reading the reviews I had imagined that the tower would have been a further hike in but I reached it in the first 15 min of a slow pace. A wheel chair couldn't get to the tower but there is a paved path, I would imagine you would need some good muscles to push. 😉 I would visit again with my kids I believe they would enjoy this enchanting park in the middle of the city. Which didn't seem to phase the parks serenity and quiet. It's a smoke free park and dogs must be on a leash.

Yes, just off North Ave.
The main trails that we saw appear to be paved. The trails up to the Tower were dirt, but very easy. We didn't go very far in and have only been once.
Unfortunately there are no public restrooms at this park but I has a great children's park and a wonderful trails to follow on along with going to the tower if you need to use a restroom they do have one in rite aid that's right next to it
It would be ok with the right amount of snow, but you'd be better off dropping into the Intervale which has more space and variation
