My mother was cared for at Manor Care. I found the staff to be very supportive, helpful and caring from all departments. She was very well taken care of. I would recommend this facility to others and should we need skilled care again we will return.

I recently admitted my grandmother to Promedica Salmon Creek and I am also an employee of this center. During my grandma's stay, I got to experience a different side of our building. The staff were attentive, caring, and timely, despite the staffing challenges our entire nation has been seeing during the pandemic. The staff at Promedica are exceptional and truly seem to enjoy coming to work every day. My grandmother wasn't able to write her own review but specifically commented on the hard work and dedication of her aides and of the housekeeping staff. Her provider who followed her care while she was in the center provided timely pain relief and answers to questions she hadn't received in the hospital. She had nothing but great things to say during her stay. She is home now and recovering quickly. I would recommend Promedica Salmon Creek to both those seeking employment as well as those seeking care for their loved ones!

In the last several months both my husband and myself were cared for here (at separate times). My husband had been in another SNF before Manor Care. They discharged him home and told me that he was able to walk 50 feet, use the toilet, etc. TOTALLY UNTRUE!! It was a totally unsafe discharge. They did very little to provide therapy for him or any support for me as a spouse. Because of COVID restrictions I couldn't see him so I was stuck believing those liars. He came home and was back in the Emergency Room in 8 days. After several days in the hospital they transferred him to Manor Care. He had been there several years ago and I was far more comfortable with it. Night and Day compared to the first place! They provided excellent physical and occuptional therapy and also communicated with me in professional manor. Instead of keeping him "hidden" in a shared room they are/were limiting patients one to room so he could have visitors. I could see that he was progressing and I was much more comfortable (and prepared by staff to get equpment) so he had a successful transfer home. Let's face it- no one wants to be in one of these places. When people say "Mom begged me to come home" I find that very expected-- I'd be worried if he wanted to stay there! He was fine with it though, particularly in comparison to the first facility. Thank you Manor Care management and staff! I will write a separate review on my experience as a patient.

The staff at Manor Care went above and beyond our expectations when caring for my mom. The Director of Admissions worked hard to get mom the placement, insurance coverage checks, appointments needed and appropriate meals for her current limited diet. Thank you Mabor House staff for helping us during this hard time.
