Pool is really a large bathtub size. Whole hotel smelled like pot. The rooms were small and aged. Breakfast was okay. Anthony at the front desk was friendly and our interaction best part of stay. Location was good for what we needed. Was in town for a baby shower and needed just a one night stay from 7 hours away. Would not book again.

To start, I’ve traveled through COVID, both with family and on business, and this was not COVID, but just poor upkeep and management. We are a family of four traveling with a dog and needed a relatively affordable 2 night stay on short (less than 2 weeks) planning. The price was low, but still higher than I’d expect given the following condition. Mold in bathroom and shower. Obvious leaks in bathroom behind toilet, near shower. Dust/hair everywhere. Stained sheets. Cracks/ripped wallpaper on walls in room, halls, and elevator. Stained floors. Old coffee in in-room maker. Smells in hallways. After the first night, we requested room service that didn’t happen (as a note: COVID altered the idea of room service daily, but continuing to say “service upon request” vs. “request not to have service” is lazy). Upon returning to room, we called to at least have garbage removed and new towels and that still took 2 hours. The food was basic and as expected, but replenished slowly. The hotel accepts dogs and we had no issues there, mostly cleaned up outside areas, though I expect that was due to travelers cleaning up after themselves and not the internal staff. Given other reviews, pay more to get more, this isn’t currently worth it.

I'll admit we showed up 30 minutes before check in time, but waiting 10 minutes for an employee to arrive at the desk & being greeted with "how long have you been here?" Wasn't a great start. Glad to see they were making a lot of much needed repairs to the building, but it would have been helpful to have some warning or apology that every single bed on the first level was outside the room and clogging the hallways, making it hard to get to the elevator. Our room had stains on the carpet & towels. My husband cleaned the toilet himself on arrival and there was toilet paper and hair on the floor. Breakfast was nice but they need to improve their cleaning in the public bathrooms and ensure the guest microwave is sanitary. I've never seen a dirtier microwave at a hotel.

We stayed here one night before my daughter's audition at University at Buffalo. I picked it for its location and it is right across the street. The hotel itself is fine- clean, simple. It isn't fancy - rooms are pretty small but it serves its purpose. There was a free breakfast but if you have any food issues, you should bring food. Staff was nice and friendly.
