Candlewood Suites Buffalo Amherst, an IHG Hotel

Clean, solid gym, friendly staff, affordable, good amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here, the room we were given was well worth what we paid. Our room included a kitchen with coffee maker, sink and small stove as well as plates, bowls, glasses and utensils. In addition there small living room space with recliner couch and TV. The bathroom provisioned with dove products. The gym area had everything I needed (pictured below), always glad when they have dumbbells on hand! Altogether we loved our stay, slept remarkably and would recommend to anyone.

I found this hotel to be the best for customer service and comfort. When i discuss this hotel with my friends, I refer to it as my second home. If I have had any concerns while staying here, they have been addressed immediately and over my expectations. Keep up the good work Jackie and staff!!

We had a fantastic experience at the Candlewood on Flint Road. The person at the front desk was friendly and competent, and we'd never seen a Candlewood Cupboard. This is the most wonderful idea I've seen for guests. It's the honor system to use what you need and return the items when you're finished. We didn't stay long-term, but if we were staying for more than a few days, the kitchen items would have been a big help. We did use a few of the office items. Printing boarding passes in the lobby was nice perk. We expected an okay hotel for just two nights, but we were bowled over with how nice, huge, and well furnished our suite was. We visit family in the area and sometimes need a hotel room, and we'll definitely stay here again.

Definitely a choice if you are in the area. Not a "luxury" place but if you are looking for a clean, modern place with all the things you'd expect in an extended stay type of place, this is it. And the front desk staff were all super nice and helpful. Also, the location is ideal with easy access to Buffalo and just 25 minutes to Niagra Falls and the Canadian border. If I'm back I that area, this is where I'll stay.
