We wanted a dog that was posted on their Facebook page. We met at their location on Q Street and they explained that we need to fill out an adoption before the event on Friday at 3pm. We arrived at 2:58 and we told that the dog suffered parvo so we had to wait until 3:15 to see the dog. We were already certain that we were going to adopt her and we were there first, before anyone else. We waited patiently for 40 min and some other lady cut in front of us and said that SHE was going to purchase her. I have 2 boys and we just lost our 16 year old Maltese a couple months ago. They were DEVASTATED!!! I didn't want to fight and cause a scene so we told them how unfair/unprofessional that was and left. I also told the website on Facebook about the incident as well and I was BLOCKED! Do not support them! I will no longer give any money toward this rescue. There are many other rescues that will get our support now. Shame on you, Lucky Paws.

The most wonderful, and fulfilling experience and visit there at Lucky Paws Rescue! Adopted a new rescue puppy from Lucky Paws Rescue! Fell in love with "Bow-tie" right away!! He is now a part of our family!

My first visit was such a welcoming experience. I was greeted when I entered even when, they were very busy. The shop is so cute and clean. They let me go into the cat room right away and love on them. The staff is very amazing. I will be adopting 2 cats and recommending them to anyone looking to adopt. A++
