My family and I have never had a good experience here. Unless you dying the staff does not care about you. The staff is absolutely rude, never in my life has my family and I been so mistreated. My husband is suffering from severe carpal tunnel and he has been trying to get seen for several years. Once they finally decided to enlighten him turns out he was not make up the pain and has nothing to do with him being 30lbs overweight, mind you he is 6ft 4in; they found he has severe carpal tunnel syndrome in his dominant hand. They set him up for surgery last November and we are in July and still have no surgery date. So now my husband is in a lot of pain to the point where doing the small things are becoming challenging he decided to push for a date. They can't do it until next year!!! The scheduler was rude to my husband saying well there is nothing I can do and my husband asked if there was another doctor that could perform the surgery she replied well yeah but don't you want this one. My husband doesn't care which doctor performs the surgery just he can get it done so he can stop being in pain. No one should ever have to push so hard to be seen or believed. This is not right! Shame on you!

Treatment by nurses was ok, but the staff taking information and billing department is horrible. I filled out all of the appropriate forms that i was given on admittance. After discharge, I was repeatedly billed what shouldβve been billed to workers comp. I called them at least 5 times and gave info about claim number and even faxed to them twice. I also called my claims rep with workers comp that said all my treatments are covered but Kaiser never billed them directly. My claim rep also asked why Kaiser had me fill out new workers comp claim form even tho I had existing claim number. I told her the admitting lady said they needed it. Apparently they have no clue. The last straw was a threatening letter they were turning me in to collections for THEIR billing mess up. I received a letter from collections regarding this mess. I wouldnβt suggest my worst enemy to obtain any services here. Wouldβve gave a negative 5 rating but nurse care was good considering they were starting to strike.

The labor and delivery team and the Kaiser Sunnyside hospital are absolutely amazing people!! I had my baby 4 weeks early and throughout the whole process had several nurses and doctors work around the clock to make sure that both of us were healthy. It definitely helped ease us being first time parents. I cannot thank you all enough for taking such good care of us - it truly meant the world to us.

Kaiser ER πππOnce admitted ππ. My nurse in the ER was moody and incompassionate. I had to stop her in the hall to communicate an IV issue. She abruptly cut me off, and as she is walking away tells me it's staying the way it is( because I'm a hard stick) and that's that. Then a new nurse walks in and says she'll be my nurse for next hour and hands me Tylenol. It left me with the impression my original nurse wanted to hand me off to someone else for an hour because I was trying to communicate my nerve pain due to my iv ( a problem I have encountered in past visits) and she didn't want to deal with it, or me. When she came back I worked extra hard to get her see me as a good likeable person and coax a better mood out of her. That's not my job, and I shouldn't be made to feel I need to do that to get competent care. I also feel the ER dept needs to immensely improve their patient communication so patients aren't left for hours in the dark or made to have to hunt down info and then be treated like we are vastly overstepping and being disruptive when all we want is to know what's going on with our care. But, I will say my IV specialist Genie was a my beacon of happy in the ER. She was kind, down to earth and completely transparent. It was very refreshing. And once I was taken to my room the nurses there were exceptional and they should be recognized. So, for me, 5 stars once I was in a room, but 2 stars for ER, hence my 3 stars review.

Tough questions! When, I was dealt with a tough situation which caused me to question Kaiser's integrity went through membership services, but, I remember leaving you a message earlier. Your concerns need to be addressed not sure, how , thinking maybe risk management. This is a security breach that you shared previously and important it has to be addressed. Not sure the correct route, I am assuming Kaiser operator wasn't helpful? Good luck, my friend, dont give up! Stick with it.
This is a serious violation of federal law. I am a Kaiser employee and would immediately report this to Kaiser compliance.
7pm
It on the main floor for xray and ct scan and lower level is MRI but check in is at registration and they will direct you to the appropriate place
Lower level. Kinda a maze to get to. Check with front desk, they can give good directions on easiest path
Kaiser hospitals are intended for Kaiser members. I expect that they may accept ER cases, then transfer to other facilities when able. Other hospitals do. Not sure here.
I believe you can get a measles vaccine at any pharmacy. Especially right now since the out break of the measles is an issue.
Only in the critical units
Our cataract surgery is done on our Interstate campus in North Portland on Interstate avenue.
The medical office buildings at Sunnybrook and Mt. Talbert (next to the main hospital) have their own xray departments for outpt.
It's with the birthing center building. Not sure hours though
Their open 24hrs but after 10pm their only open through their emergency room section because they lock every door, only you can exit any door but can return through the emergency room
