The owner was possibly the most rude person I have met. The Marine Ecology class I was taking originally planned on going to the campground in the park, but it was full as it is first come, first serve. When we pulled up to Lost Resort, the owner yelled at us and said we had too many people in our group, even though the place was mostly empty. When we asked to use the wifi (we had no phone service) to find a new spot he was extremely rude to us. Then when we tried to see if there was a way we could fix the issues like splitting up the group or only a few staying there, he yelled at us to leave. We ended up staying at a campsite back down the road away from this cranky old man. The owner seemed like the type of man who would take up two seats and force a pregnant woman to stand or who would turn away the Virgin Mary even though he had room. I would not recommend anyone go here.

Just stopped for lunch on the way in and out and loved it! Patty was so funny and a joy and the food was surprisingly good. A cold beer and milkshake after a few days of backpacking was just what we needed.

positive-The cabin was clean and in good repair. It was peaceful. Hot shower was available as well as a bathroom with running water. This place is walking distance from the Ozette Ranger station! negative-The owner is "salty" but I did NOT find that an admirable quality as customer service was poor. Don't expect them to stay open the hours they list and expect little to no wifi availability. They do not value your business or so it appears.

Extremely well stocked general store. Firewood 5 bucks. Service was great. Most of the campsites are on grass. Cabins are comfortable. Showers for guests 3$ or 6$ for non guests. Regular restroom as well. Beer on draft. Great diner space. Porta potties a bit scary bring a broom for the spiders.

Thank you Samantha Jean.
Probly not. As the sites are pretty over grown. Although just passed the resort there is a small campground you should fit in
Only issue with bears in the area has been getting into improperly stored food. Never heard of a mountain lion attack in this part of the Olympic Peninsula, but there's a great picture in the Lost Resort of one standing on a boardwalk. Obviously the photographer survived ;-)
The camp grounds warned not to have small animals because of wildlife dangers in the area. I don't remember if the Lost Resoert did or not. It was a great camp ground though. Lots of rabbits hopping around.
At this time of the night there nothing out here tonight sorry i live in clallambay and we have a storm coming in
