Very awesome place near the beach. Beach access was a bit of a walk or you can drive. Actually can drive onto the beach. Plenty of activities to do. Also has food and gift shop.

From the resort manager to the housekeeping staff everyone was outstanding. Professional and patient as well as personable! I can't tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay. It is obvious that the hiring system and the training program are running in sync. The only issue I had was the portions for the price in the restaurant we're a little small. The cooks however we're outstanding. I walked away smiling after every encounter I really couldn't expect anything more! Thank you so much!

Beautiful views and decent quality accommodations for a cheap price. One note, check in time is now 5 PM not 3 PM as per the website. Also, bring food as there are very few restaurants and grocery stores nearby

Small but well equipped room in the main building on the ground floor. Very loud heater. Check in is 5pm, but my room was available by 3:30. Restaurant has descent food but closed early. I enjoyed the area and the beach nearby. Will definitely return.

Yes. We had one in our campsite campfire ring, and also on the beach
They are!
I believe it's only active duty, and retired. Drilling NG & Res maybe...best to call them first or check the military lodging (MWR) website.
No fires
I have been the 'sponsor' of guests at Pacific Beach before. You arrive with them, you check in, they don't look for your 'base pass' or anything.
Yes
The cabins each have their own fire ring in the back yard.
It's private unless you are affiliated with the military, whether you're active duty, retired, or a dependent. I think reserves too.
They hide glass floats around the property for guests to go find. Great fun! Get there early!
Yes
Hi Kathy.. You have to have military ID to stay overnight. But it's beautiful to visit If you do. If you don't, you can still go during the day! Not a lot of restaurants open during the winter. Tiny cafe at the main building where people check in.
