The owner of the shop Dave, is truly an honest and knowledgeable person. He gave me an hour of his time to just simply talk with me about my Grandfather’s stamp collection. It was an hour he could have been doing anything else but he chose to take some time to help me figure out what was in the collection and how I should go about selling the collection. He seems to be very knowledgeable, with significant experience in collecting stamps. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy and/or sell stamps. A true gentleman! Ashley

Was told to see David and Niko with my fathers old and valuable german collection. I saw them on 4/18/ 21. David spent a full hour looking and explaining the options I had to pass on this collection. I offered to pay him for this hour, but he declined. David is very knowledgeable and honest with his evaluation, and would not even give me an estimate on how much he would buy it for until he had examined to collection in detail. I was impressed and will give him the collection to examine and hope for the best. A very honest and fair place to take your collection.

I was referred to Uptown Stamps and we are grateful for their service. They are experts in the field and willing share their knowledge. We have a collection that is not high in value, they offered several options to our family for disposal. I offered to pay for their evaluation and David Markowitz declined. I would highly recommend a trip their store! Fascinating experience.

Uptown Stamp Show is incredible! Everyone there was super kind and excited to help me. I came in searching for a nice book as a gift for my boyfriend who recently got a hold of his childhood stamp collection. The staff were more than happy to talk with me and after I explained that my boyfriend’s stamp collection is being kept in an old, broken, plastic lunchbox, they gave me a great deal on a gorgeous book with plenty of pages to add all his stamps and more to grow his collection. I’m so excited to give him the book this weekend! Unfortunately, neither of us live close enough to make frequent visits, but after such a delightful experience, I hope to bring said boyfriend in sometime to browse their selection and talk with other collectors!
