I came here for a drug screen and this was by far the worst experience ever. The front desk staff was rude. After waiting 25 min and overhearing that the urgent care patients wait time was 3 hours I got curious and asked the receptionist. My exact words " can I please get an estimated time frame on the wait" her response was oh on your drug screen I replied with "yes please " the medical assistant walked up and the receptionist very rudely said this lady would like to know her exact time for when you'll be taking her back. I stopped her before she could say anything else and said excuse me that is not what was said I asked you politely if I could get a time frame so now you're putting your own words into the conversation you're having with the medical assistant. The medical assistant walked off and the receptionist said she'll get you when she can. Seriously as a current employee of Providence you my friends are a shame to providence. I asked the receptionist for my ID and left. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone I know and I hope you have a better day and learn how to treat patients when visiting an establishment that you represent.

UPD: the waiting time has slightly improved. Bumping up the rating. I have no complaints about actual medical services provided here, but man-oh-man, the time waiting time!! Why pack all the patients into rooms and have them wait hour and the half? Reception has no idea what is waiting time and says 10 minute, while actual waiting time is above an hour. Very disappointing. It is just wasted time.

I’m shocked at that horrible customer service I witnessed at providence Bridgeport immediate care. My boyfriend went in with a broken hand the only thing immediate care cared about was insurance. He was given the run around for a week and still hasn’t gotten the help he needs. He’s in pain and was told he needed to come back in if he needed something for his pain. Drove him over there and waited an hour just to find out that immediate care doesn’t give anything for a broken bone, even though they see someone in pain. They offered him a topical to rub on his casted broken hand. A TOPICAL for a CASTED BROKEN HAND! Providence Bridgeport needs to do better. Stop wasting time when people are in need and realize not even thing is about money.

I blew out my knee and went to urgent care. Much better experience than going to the ER. Everyone from the check in person to the nurse that takes your vitals, x ray tech and the Doctor were professional, empathetic and pleasant. It is always a bummer being injured but they made it manageable.

There is not an ENT at Providence Bridgeport Medical facility.
The immediate care takes many insurances. To know for sure if yours is excepted you will need to now you insurance carrier (such as Cigna, Health Net, etcetera) then call them directly and ask.
Nope. It is against the law to turn people away because they have no way to pay. However, that doesn't mean you wont get a fat bill in the mail asking for payment for services provided.
