Great food, top of the line detail in the restaurant, good menu, professional staff and outstanding fare. We were a part of 6 and there was not one negative comment through the entirety of our experience. Highly recommend this establishment and kudos to Chef Brent was definitely on his A game. His visit to our table, to check on our satisfaction with our meal was quite refreshing and taking the time to have a conversation with us, tell us their history and a bit about Shelbyville was just an added perk for us. Thank you Chef Brent and the entire staff for an exceptional evening at the Bell House Restaurant...... we shall return

Wonderful atmosphere setting an old Victorian style home. Had chicken salad sandwich and lobster bisque for lunch ..both outstanding. The staff was friendly and very accommodating considering we arrived close to the lunch cutoff (2 pm) and did not rush us at all.

Bell House fit us in when I called late with a large party on Oaks night. The service was great, the kitchen was quick, and the food was delicious. I ordered the Kentucky Hot Brown and loved it. The atmosphere is so comfortable, we ended up having an impromptu sing along with the table next to us! It was an unforgettable dinner.

I've had lunch and dinner here several times, and have never been disappointed. Then we used the Bell House as the caterer for our wedding, and everything was excellent. They boxed up some of the left overs for my new wife and I to enjoy the next day as we came down off the excitement of the big day. Brent was excellent to work with, putting up with all the crazy requests of my bride's grandmother. The staff that came to our wedding was amazing and worked so well together. 10 out of 10 recommend.
