Horrible bed! Sounds like loud flexing metal every time I roll over. Woke up my wife who can sleep through anything. Pancake pillows. Skip this if you’re looking for a place to sleep. Smells like smoke.

Turning down to stay here for a second night and stay at the Eco Lodge next door was the best choice. There are scary people staying here. I was scared of going outside to my car because the man above us kept staring at me! Place looks filthy poor and run down. People next door arguing and screaming. There is a strong odor of marijuana when you open the room door. Bed is very old and hard. Toilet runs on all night. Cops knocking on the door twice where the people arguing. The blonde lady at the counter tried to convince me to stay here spreading lies about the Eco lodge. But next door hotel was wayyyyy better.. cleaner and nicer. If you're traveling with kids or solo (ladies) do not stay here I advice you DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Positive: How dare you even advertise such an outdated hotel that didn't even have a smoke detector or sprinklers in the rooms!!!! Beyond UNSAFE!! That's against Federal Regulations! The place should be shut down. Negative: Besides being unsafe, there were junk vehicles stored on the property, homeless people begging for cigarettes and 5 people outside my window with 4 pit bulls scratching at my window on a Friday night! One morning a dog tried to run in to my room.

Positive: The staff is very friendly! The room was simply but clean and bed was comfortable. The location is ideal. Shelbyville is a beautiful historic area with great dining and entertainment. Negative: Its an older venue that needs a little TLC but for the location, price and simple comfort I would definitely stay here again.

Worse place to stay. The rooms smell like strong smoke, the walls are filthy and the phones don't work half the time. It is full of drug addicts and questionable people. The management is horrible. I told them about a broken curtain rod on check in and they charged me for it afterwards. Tried fighting it but they did nothing. $50 for a curtain rid that was already broken before i stayed there. They said it was the last vacancy or I wouldn't have stayed. Tried surround hitels but they too were booked up. Ill never stay there again. I would rather sleep in my van. Its cleaner
