Not sure about Thanksgiving but they do take reservations.

When I visited, I just stayed in the motel for a couple of nights, did not eat at the restaurant, not sure about the food and service there. I know the motel rooms were not up to today's standards. Old, musky, dark, really need updating and new heat and air units. But the restaurant will probably be open on labor day if you are willing to give it a try. Ass far as an overnight stay, the General Nelson motel is a much better choice for the same price. Remodeled rooms, complimentary hot breakfast. Located on West Stephen Foster Ave.
