This is a lovely spot in Bardstown, convenient to everything you need. The property is well maintained and just beautiful. In the back, the lake and firepit among the big oaks is wonderful. I will stay here again no problem, and the have great internet. Streaming is no problem.

Would not allow a tent set up on an RV site. Terrible email communication (rude, poor spelling and grammar). Most likely the reason they are the only campground with available space on a holiday weekend - SO glad we dodged a bullet by contacting them prior to just showing up.

NO HUMAN CONTACT! No smile or way to contact except to leave a message then you quickly get an email response. Park was clean, space was decent size no way would you call spacious pretty level. No shade, no picnic tables for campers yet there are5 scattered out under trees near lake. Bathhouse was relatively clean not sure if or when they are cleaned. Other than other campers no human movement from building. The showers DO NOT have a bench or shelf for your toiletries which is a huge negative issue. Water was NOT hot but comfortably warm. Choices In Bardstown are slim pickin’s so this was the nicer one we saw. Just surprised not more options.

Excellent stay! Thank you Denice for all your help! Super friendly staff! Location Location Location! Plus a Wonderful Lake and Fishing was Fun! Grounds kept clean and manicured, and the price was reasonable. Cons: 1 Odd number sites water and electricity hook ups are shared so they are on front side. Bring electrical and water extensions, 2 No picnic tables and fire pits at your site, there is a huge firepit near the lake, very nice, few picnic tables near the lake but they go fast. We Will Be Back!
