Went in with a buddy of mine from out of town. It was a quiet afternoon and the service was both fast and friendly. I ordered some chicken strips and I have to warn you now that those things are a whole lot bigger than they appear to be. They also bring a large helping of gravy to go with those strips so don't worry about not having enough.

The service was subpar.. no one greeted me while I was seated at the bar for at least 10 min. Not very friendly.. barely asked if I needed anything. Really I should have walked out and not given them my business. The bar only had 3 patrons seated. The bartenders/cocktail waitresses just acted like I wasn’t there. But a patron asked a bar back for a beer and he gave him one with no hesitation but didn’t even smile at me. Drop off my food with no silverware or even a half smile. On a good note my Burger was great!

We stay at the hotel next door quite often when we come to Houston and decided to finally walk over to Tailgate. Shelby was our server and she was fantastic! Great drink specials/reverse happy hour. Loving all the Halloween decor and just a nice atmosphere. My mom even has food allergies but the cook did the best job with her meal. She loved it. We will definitely be back!
