Standard BW hotel. It's a little on the edge of town but only about 4 minutes to drive to downtown. The rooms are a little dated but clean 😀 The loft style suite is pretty cool and includes a small kitchen, living room, a downstairs bathroom with tiled walk-in shower, and another shower-tub bathroom upstairs with the bedroom. The desk was sturdy and had electrical outlets nearby. The WiFi was unreliable and would work for only several seconds followed by about 15 seconds of no external connection. (This was evident in both my laptop and phone, with our without VPN, and running a continuous ping to 1.1.1.1 was also just as intermittent.) Thank you for having carafes of milk for my coffee in the morning. Oh and the green chili was great on my eggs! Kudos to Dominic who checked me in and spent time answering some of my questions; and to the nice lady who processed my check out and gave me some sightseeing tips. Thank you to the gentleman at breakfast who let me grab another coffee before closing down. Coffee is a priority 😄. Lastly, thank you to housekeeping. The lady who was coming to clean my room is very sweet. My greatest concern with booking was with the cleanliness of my room, and I was happy to find it nice and clean upon arrival.

I have stayed at this Best Western in Alamosa several times and always found it to be clean and well kept. Improvements are always done on rooms, stairs, grounds and pool areas. The breakfast assortment of food and beverages is wonderful. Andy is one of the most helpful and friendly associates I have encountered in any hotel. Hope to return to the San Luis valley area soon! I found this photo I had taken previously.

I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels/motels. The customer service here was top notch. Every single person I ran into here was so kind and made sure myself and my children were comfortable. Also, HANDS DOWN the best continental breakfast I've ever had in a motel. I don't travel to Alamos often but if I do again, I will 100% stay here! Way to go above and beyond.

This Best Western was below my Best Western company hotel expectations. The TV was half as big as the dresser. The room needed many cosmetic fixes. Lastly they allowed a truck with a refrigeration unit to park in their parking lot and we got to hear their loud annoying unit start over and over all night long. Rude to all the other guests trying to sleep at their hotel. Never staying here again.

No, no bathtubs. They have showers with shower curtains. A tub is when a grown man who is 6ft1 could feel his entire body is under water, and no hotels that charge a decent price has a bathtub.
