Newer place and very clean room. The staff were friendly. Comfortable. Seemed to be understaffed and a little overwhelmed at breakfast. Once caught up, the food was delicious. Small selection of bagels/waffles. Scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. Cereals. Juices, milk and coffee. A bonus was a laundry room. One ice machine and it didn’t work. This IS a pet friendly hotel. It was a surprise to see two cats upon arrival in the hallway. Pets are welcome in rooms. There was some animal hair in some places. Overall, this was still a good pit stop for me and my family on our way to Great Sand Dunes NP.

Big, comfortable room. Kitchenette has a sink, counter space, microwave, tons of cabinet space, and a bigger than typical mini- fridge. Laundry room downstairs, hot breakfast in the morning and good coffee anytime. Perfect for an extended stay. And amazingly quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was roomy and the bed was very comfortable. We just needed a place to stay while we were passing through and we are so glad we found this place. Staff were super friendly. Very quiet, comfortable stay. We look forward to booking with you again!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. There were cats roaming the halls, great for those that are not allergic. The hotel was maybe 10% occupied, yet they still put us in a room across from the locals, that seem to live there on a somewhat permanent basis. The permanent residents also like to stay up late, going in and out smoking. There is no in room coffee, you can have one little bar of soap, and one bottle of shampoo, but don’t ask for more, and make sure you bring your own snacks, there is no vending, but they will sell you something from behind the front desk ( if they have stock), or so the gentleman that checked us in that night said. Don’t get me wrong, I normally have my own toiletries and snacks when I travel, but to cheap out on the little things, I was surprised. Breakfast is served for 2 hours, and you have to wait until then if you want any coffee. OUCH! It was all around a very unprofessional feel. The real cake topper, is when I left my $400 Columbia Parka in the room, and it somehow disappeared.. The woman behind the counter in the day was very helpful when I called, she looked through previous night reservations and said no one else had stayed in the room and she would go look, but when she put me on hold, that awesome ( not so professional) gentleman that had checked me in informed me that the room staff swears it was not in the room, yet it was hanging right in the closet. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Even if it is the newest hotel in town. My family is from Alamosa, and to return to my mother and fathers hometown for my fathers funeral, I did not need this feeling of being taken advantage added on to an already stressful situation. I will make sure to tell all my family to never go there, and never recommend it to anyone.
