Great place to find things at a cheap price for whatever project you are looking to do. I go every Saturday and I would also like to add that Kenny in the scale house is a great person to deal with

Every time I go out there I get inspired to do another "things on top of things" sculpture (Apologies to Monty Python). Modern technology produces almost any shape imaginable in steel and aluminum, which is half the battle if you're not as rich as Jeff Koons and his ilk. Tom, who runs the scrap section, is a great guy and and a great welder and does not mind sharing a tip of two to a mediocre welder like me. The photo shows my latest entitled :Get Off My Lawn You KIds!"

Depends on what the car is and if it is complete or not...radiator, battery, wheels, and catalytic converters. A complete car brings alot more $ per ton than a shell
Bright and shiny #1 - $2.50 lb. #2 copper - $2.24 lb. 60/40 insulated - $1.16 lb
Ed, Thank you for updating us on your recent experience. After looking into your load we were made aware that the load was one that we hauled from your job site, using our own equipment. That being said, we aren’t able to pay the full scale price (unlike if it had been delivered it to our facility), simply due to the added cost incurred by us picking up the material. We are continuing to look into your comments and will reach out to you to discuss it further. We truly appreciate your business. Sincerely, Cherry City Metals Management

There is no cost to sell scrap to us. We will pay you for the metal you want to recycle.
You'll want to separate the ferrous from any non ferrous, then the computer parts together etc for weighing out. The ferrous, if you have any, is separate from the non -ferrous area.
Hello Dee, prices fluctuate frequently, so for the most current price on batteries, please call our office at 503-588-0721. Thank you!

That's probably a question for the front desk, not so much customers on Google maps.
