I watched the older guy with glasses spend 5 minutes embarrassing three ladies who were falling over themselves trying to get the paperwork for a passport done. It was difficult to watch, and I commend them for holding it together. Not sure I could have done the same, and I almost told him what I thought about his customer service skills before I took three breaths and kept quiet. I hope this is more effective. I've also seen him being very friendly in the past, so maybe something is going on with him, but is still no reason to take it out on customers. The younger male worker I've only seen treat people with respect. A good example to his co-worker.

My mail can never get delivered like it’s suppose to!! My mail comes like at 7pm, I repeat 7pm!! and many times they won’t deliver a package and state “Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location”. I have no gate no nothing blocking my house. I had a letter in my box early in the morning and it’s still sitting in there. So my mail completely didn’t come and they say it’s my fault there’s no secure access! They constantly make up excuses! They are just way to lazy to drive up my driveway at 7pm. Useless people work here!! It’s problems after problems!! What if i had a letter that needed post marked no later than today and here it sits in my mail box because USPS is so blasted lazy!!

The old guy with glasses is rude and annoying. He looks like he hates being there. We went in for our passport appointment. We didn’t want to cut everybody off, so we waited in line. By the time we get to the counter, we’re about 5 mins pass our appointment. He didn’t believe that we were waiting in line the entire time and just assumed that we’re late?!? so he refused to help us and was being loud and rude. Fortunately, his coworker, the guy with long hair, was nice enough to take over and help us out. If you want to get your passport, please don’t go there or at least avoid that guy.

This is mostly a generalized review. USPS has to be the most inefficient company ever. Think about it, if ANY OTHER BUSINESS did the things USPS does, you would no longer do business with them. If any other company was consistently late on deadlines, and consistently lost their projects or work, and had rude, incompetent employees, they’d be done for. However, we’re grandfathered into this relationship with USPS, where we are forced to accept those services. It’s outrageous that they screw up, so regularly and with such intensity, and we all just act like it’s nothing. This local post office, doesn’t even have two stars on Google. USPS should be embarrassed by their reoccurring mistakes, and mess ups. It’s so bizarre that the American people are willing to put up with this, when we would never accept this behavior, from any other company.

They take the phone off the hook. Ive called from the lobby to prove it.
You have a number of options. You can go to USPS.COM and fill out an online vacation hold. You can pick up a vacation hold at the post office (yellow form), or you can leave a note in your mailbox in the outgoing mail with flag raised. If you leave a note, it needs Start date, End date, if you will pick up at the office or have it delivered, and very importantly your name, address, and signature! Hope this helps.
I work for the Postal Service in WA. If you have a tracking number, I'm more than willing to look into it for you.
Don't bother. These people will cause you many headaches.
Oof. Thats a hard call. Last i heard some of the post offices around town are under lawsuit. So fixing mail boxes is probably the least of their worries. Try to get ahold of the mayor. Good luck.
Don't believe all that you hear. They just renovated the building. It's busy and as profitable as the USPS gets. They would close Amboy, Yacolt, Ridgefield and others first. These are all signs that you were lied to and it's not closing.
yes but it won't work, neither do the employees, they just hang out there.
No , sorry.
DO you know, everything we mail from here AND even if it's To here, it has to go to Portland? Much of Battle Ground is RURAL. They don't have the workers and not as many trucks as needed. People put mailboxes in some odd places. The Car deliveries have to sit in the passenger's seat and stretch a leg to the gas. It's a killer position. If you want Prime PAY EXTRA, and CHOOSE UPS.
Battle Ground is too big and the population is too large for this Post Office to handle the volume. It was the same size and had the same staff when this town had 12,000 people. Now theres like 30,000+
