I typically only go through the drive-thru where every time I go there I am greeted by a friendly voice that promptly takes my order. Then I get to the window to a smiling face that takes my money and within minutes I got a bag of deliciousness for an amazing price

Steak burgers didn't taste like steak burgers,chili Mac was extra greasy,shakes were not thick at all,root beer was warm,they were out of ice,wrong timing I guess.

They don’t even disearve one star they clam to allow pick up but they will not serve u unless u go threw drive three and if u don’t have a car it’s not possible to get anything there is one employee who is beyond rude they will alway mess up at least one thing on your order I work very close to this restaurant and it used to be my absolute favorite place to go but since they started renavating it’s terrible if you try calling no one will ever pick up I deff think they need a complete staff change in my opinion

Visited on 1-8-22. I used the drive-through as I planned. It did not appear that the restaurant itself was open for inside dining. I only visit Peoria every couple of months and had a gift card saved on the app. (It was saved from before the big app update - I had to contact customer service to get the gift card reinstated as the app update deleted it). I ordered a Kit Kat shake. When I went to pay through the app, the scanner at the window was not working, so the manager gave me the shake for free. While looking at the app more closely, I discovered that the ability to pay through the app means you have to order on the app - I'm not sure if paying means scanning my phone or if it is done automatically through the app. You cannot currently order at the drive through and pay by scanning your phone. This was my first time trying to use the updated app, so I am uncertain if next time when I order through the app if my phone it will still need to be scanned. I would give the app a 4-star, however, the shake tasted of strawberries. I am not impressed at Steak 'n Shake as a chain. I once ordered a chocolate shake from another Steak 'n Shake and it had peanuts in it. Peanuts trigger headaches for me, so I was not happy. The manager of that store (on the east side of Peoria) when contacted, did nothing to correct the mistake.

I went through the drive thru yesterday (4/02/21) sometime btwn 5-6 and had the same issue. It looked like the lights were on but didn't see a single person inside.
That place is the most mismanaged place in Peoria. When I spoke to the manager about the poor quality of my meal she argued with me then finally said she would need to address the issue. That it no apology nothing. I will never go back.
If you ask me, there is no reason that it should take 30 min to get 2 shakes, even if they were busy!!
