My daughter has taken three of the Merry Kitchen online classes. Julie sends the recipes and ingredient list beforehand so that you have enough time to gather ingredients and your child is ready to focus on learning the techniques. Julie is super patient and explains the steps in a very age-appropriate manner. I'm always amazed at how well the classes are planned so that the kids are able to complete two to three recipes in under 2 hours.

Had a small birthday celebration with The Merry Kitchen and had such a fun experience! Beforehand, shes super open about what we actually wanted to make (we picked enchiladas and cupcakes). Merry also takes COVID and state/city regulations very seriously by requiring masks and social distancing the best we can. The end result was fantastic and we got to take the recipes home to make again! If you’re looking for a fun-filled, COVID safe, birthday party/class, The Merry Kitchen is the way to go!

My daughter had her 8th birthday party at The Merry Kitchen and she had a great time celebrating with her friends. She said, " I liked making chocolate chip cookies and cooking on the stove." She enjoyed making home-made Canadian bacon pizza and pizza sauce. Julie, the owner, does a great job teaching and showing the children how to cook from scratch and making the experience of cooking fun and enjoyable.
