Extremely efficient. A completely different experience from going to the emissions testing place in the state I moved from a few years ago. Plus, I live in Clack so it's super convenient for me. I think I only spent 15 minutes here. Including the time waiting in line.

The first time we went the employees were very rude(it was 1 minute before closing, but still, I don't know why any employees should ever be rude to anyone!) We went back the next day and thank goodness those rude employees weren't the ones that helped us in bay one. The employee that helped us was FANTASTIC, he was so nice, made the transaction easy and enjoyable.

Woman was xtremely nice. Gave us a warning instead of turning us away about NO DOGS rule... Way cool n thank you so much! We PASSED !!

Very quick, efficient, knowledgeable people. We were there for a total of 5 minutes. probably less than that. He hooked us up, tested, sufficiently answered our questions and printed our receipt, quick quick. With a genuinely friendly attitude. This is good service.

Closed until April 2020 to be clear. It is currently open.
Just go the next day they are open. You won't be ticketed for being a few days late.
Everyone knows what a ki fir is 🙄🤣 (Can you get a " key for" the car when I pass DEQ) Hopefully you already have one 😁
No, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays...opened Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat.
You'll find out when u get your registration renewal. I live in the country and never had to use DEQ. Apparently they're changing their qualification areas.
Absolutely you can.
It's $7, but they only do it if you need a DEQ check as well (so says the dmv website). https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/pages/vehicle/vininspection.aspx
Went to Clackamas DEQ 2 weeks ago on Saturday. Got there just before they opened. There were 4 cars ahead of me. Was done in 1/2 an hour.
$25 ( I got it done a couple of weeks ago and then paid for my registration online)
yes. I didnt show anything.
212 Clackamas HWY ,turn on 102nd and follow the DEQ Sign.
I think so. The drive thru stalls are very tall. I heard they've reopened now.
Yes I believe you can go to any DEQ in the state.
When I got there they were closed. I have been informed they wont reopen till October. But you can get a DEQ inspection at some oil change stations such as valvoline. I did it, then went online n took care of it. Got my tags last week. Try it.good luck
Yes, according to the website.
25$ actually. Then $192 for stickers. Prepare to drop $217 when you go.
They are going to be open June 15th, expect delays
On the website, it says June 16th. Also when driving up to it .there is a sign, saying it will open June 16th
June 15th
All of clackamas county is not a free zone. You have to get tested for new plates tags ect.
From the Oregon DEQ website: "DEQ does not require emissions testing of newer model year vehicles because they typically have lower mileage and are therefore less likely to experience problems with their emissions control systems. During calendar year 2019, the following model years qualify as a “Newer Model Year Vehicle” Model Year 2016 (So long as the current registration expires before January 1, 2020) Model Year 2017 Model Year 2018 Model Year 2019 Model Year 2020" Furthermore, if your car falls into one of the above model years, you can simply renew your registration online at https://www.oregondmv.com/online instead of going anywhere.
As of February 2019, it's exactly $21, but you only pay if your vehicle passes the test. No charge if it fails. Some vehicles are exempt and don't need to be tested, either because of your home address or year the vehicle was manufactured. Here's a link to the states website showing the current price. https://www.oregon.gov/deq/Vehicle-Inspection/Pages/Portland-Area-Stations.aspx And here's a link to see if your vehicle is exempt from testing. https://www.oregon.gov/deq/Vehicle-Inspection/Pages/Portland-Required-to-Test.aspx Side note. I personally received a letter saying I had to pay for testing. It was wrong. I had a newer vehicle and live outside the testing zone. So I told them and then I didn't have to pay the $21 fee. Always check for yourself before going in. Good luck!
Tuesday true Saturday. Saturday until 1:00pm.
Proof of insurance and payment. If you have registration renewal papers, can do that at the same time.
Yes you can as long as the car is in your name and you have the paperwork with you
No you will not fail for a brake light, tire pressure light, air bag light or oil light. The only light you should worry about for deq is the check engine light
If you live in the Portland area, your renewal paperwork should have been sent to you. If you have moved here from out of state, you'll have to go to the DMV first.
Lines are shortest on weekdays during the middle of the month.
l
Probably. Check your renewal form for confirmation.
Yes you can get tested at DEQ and then take the pass certification to DMV along with the other things you mentioned to register your vehicle and get your tags.
Yes, the station off Cornelius Pass is still there
Ya the judge didn't drop mine....in fact scolded me for not getting a trip permit.... Like 25-30$ more.
No, not in the past, when I've taken Mum's car through.
