Slow on getting our appetizers and food to us. And one of the people that was in the party of four AFTER an hour they came out and said what they ordered they ran out of the item. And wasn't willing to compensate any kind of way and gave a suggestion on what they had left but didn't even a discount us for waiting so long for the food and running out of a dish that was ordered. But when the food came my meat was warm and the potatoes and corn was cool. They may have been in business for 30 years because NO ONE WANTED TO COMPLAIN.

Having been to multiple Jameson's restaurants, we always expect much of the same with each visit. Visiting the Skokie location was both a surprise and a disappointment and if it hadn't been our outstanding server, Bobby, it may have been even worse. Beginning with our reservation, which asked if it was a special occasion, why ask if there is no acknowledgement of why were there? I requested a booth, and with a very empty restaurant we were led to a location in the bar which was very noisy while other lovely locations were available. A patron should be asked if a bar table is acceptable, especially when the rest of the restaurant was basically empty. It was noted that only 2 other booths in the quiet center of the restaurant were occupied. After a request for a different booth, we were led to a back wall table. What was surprising, was that the restrooms were not located in the restaurant and we had to walk through a noisy, messy hotel lobby only to find that both the men's and women's restrooms were dirty and a mess. Thankfully, the food did not disappoint and as mentioned, our server was a delight. He saved the overall rating. We chose the Skokie location due to convenience of where we would be. Never again.

My son and I had an Easter meal there yesterday. It was excellent. His N.Y. strip was the best we've tasted. My leg of lamb and asparagus were cooked perfectly and delicious, as well. From the bread to the dessert, the meals were above 5 stars. Great job!

Do yourself a favor and order the Shrimp DeJonghe! So incredible. If you’re a steak fiend, order the 16oz ribeye. Perfect size, perfectly cooked. I love how the steaks come with a soup, salad, AND a side. For $39, this was a major deal! This would have been a 5star review had the wait staff been a bit more attentive to our needs. It took just a little too long to get refills, replacement silverware, clear the dirty dishes, etc. Overall, though, we were impressed.
