Flew into Chicago last minute and a trip to Chicago is not complete without a visit to Portillo’s. I can’t get enough of this place and when your boarder line about to pass out from how good the shakes are, you know this place has to be good! Courteous staff and prompt service. Clean and a pleasure to visit. If you’ve never tried it, you must! Not only hot dogs , but burgers, Italian beef and the heart stopping cake shake!

The food here is so good, but the service is always slow, especially if the restaurant is busy. The restaurant is always busy each time I go here. I mostly go in here during lunch and had to wait a long time just to have a burger. I went here recently for lunch again, and just like usual, the restaurant was busy. I have nowhere to go for lunch, so I have no choice but to wait. The food here is truly delicious. Anything I order from their wide menu selection always tastes delicious and filling. I only ordered a double cheeseburger, fries, and a milkshake. Service may be slow, but the staff here are very friendly and helpful. I could see that they were trying to do their best, especially the staff behind the counter. The prices of the food here are also reasonable and worth it for the quality and taste of the food. They also always serve fresh and hot food. The portions are also great, just like the double cheeseburger I ordered, which has a huge portion with juicy and greasy patties, fresh veggies, and, of course, cheesy. The fries are also well-seasoned, golden and crispy. Last but not the least is their milkshake, which I definitely love so much.

Portillo's hot dogs is one of my favorite places to eat. I haven't been in a while so I was looking forward to my meal. Ordered cake shake and bacon double cheeseburger This place has the best milk shake and bacon double cheeseburger I have ever had. It was nice ambient atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The Cake Shake has chunks of delicious chocolate cake on the bottom that you have to dig out with a spoon. And the bacon cheeseburger is so delicious, tasty with just the right amount of kick to awaken all your taste buds. And the staff here is so friendly it was top notch customer service I received from them. Would definitely recommended

This Portillos I've been going to is so far my favorite spot to go with my kids. I've had nothing but great experience with the customer service and the staff are excellent hard workers. The management there is astounding for example yesterday when I had went with my family I had ordered a beef combo and one that was a regular beef. But the ordered ended being two regular beef and no combo in my order so I had went back to the register to let them know I had gotten my order wrong. The kind woman at the register I want to say her name was Colette (sorry if I butchered the name) had felt terrible about the mistake she made and she was amazing handling my order and asking for her manager right away to get my order right. As soon as I told the manager my order he immediately told the staff to get my beef combo with hot ghiardineira on the fly super cool hearing that for some reason. Anyways thank you guys for the amazing service and me and my family want to come back when ever we have a hankering for some good ol' Portillo's!!
