This place is terrible. You don’t actually see a doctor, you see a nurse who knows absolutely nothing about mental health. Her name is Tammy Dawson and she is ineffective at offering any type of treatment. Every time I went in, she remembered nothing and it was like meeting her for the first time over and over. She prescribed medication at such a low dose it was of no help at all. All of this came after Dr. Almanzar abruptly left out of nowhere and in the middle of patient treatment plans. Just disappeared. You then get informed Tammy Dawson is taking over and like I said, she is useless. She is a nurse and I pay to see a Psychiatrist. The only plus I can give is that the girls in the front office that schedule and take care of questions and a myriad of other things, are fantastic and awesome to deal with. Thank god this place is closing. Good riddance!

Compassion mental health services is horrible. I left them a voicemail last week that i needed my prescription refilled. Never called me back. Finally got a hold of them after calling 3x today and they said there's no provider there to call in my script and can't ensure that it'll even go in tomorrow morning. Said i need a follow up appointment but last 2 times i have scheduled a follow up they don't have it on their schedule. I haven't had my medicine since last week & receptionist had no care or urgency of my needs. You think having someone working in the mental health field they would be a little more empathetic…. She told me she is behind 3 weeks on voicemails…. An extra hour of work a day would save that problem. As far as the psychiatrists go, they are okay (for the most part).

I’ve seen Dr. Diaz for three years. Dr. Diaz provides compassionate care. She is smart and explains how medications work, and has stood by me through a highly stressful period in my life. She is a busy doctor who is willing to spend time with you which is highly rare for a psychiatrist. I highly recommend Dr. Diaz if you are struggling with mental health issues.
