Most employees here are great most of the time but whoever was returning after hour calls on Feb 1 2022 should be given a different task. It is their job to answer questions and help people not complain and hang up on them. This behavior from an employee is unacceptable.

Quick easy and understanding. Just had a baby and moved into a house on the borderline of beaver and Lawrence so now I have to go to the beaver county assistance office , I REALLY wish we could keep going to Lawrence because as a working 19 yr old with a baby the amount of disrespect I receive from beaver county is ridiculous and makes me want to cry. Lawrence county 5 stars. Beaver 0.

That all depends on a number of factors. The first being what you have in your accounts now, when was your last paycheck, where did you live before here, do you have children, and others. Generally speaking you may qualify for both but actual start date of either are affected by the last monies you received and where you are living now/where you lived before. You can go online with PA.gov and do much of your leg work and qualification online. Otherwise, go to their offices and get in line. Be sure to have all your ID, SSN, Banking, and former jobs information to present to the agent involved. Be sure to ask for specific program qualifications - such as cash assistance, food stamps, and health care. It will take a couple of days for them to call you back for an appointment or send you email on what programs you are qualified for. Just remember, even if you qualify, it could be a 30 day delay before you can use/be awared benefits.
Its walk in no appointment needed just go in fill out a form and you will be seen by a case worker there shortly after
