Our first Escape Room was the Arcade room and we had a blast! We only got through half the room and we probably needed more than three people to get all the way through. Angela was great in helping us learn the ropes! I recommend Portland Escape Rooms…the more people you bring, the less it costs per person! It was such a fun experience and I will tell all my friends!

Rachel was fantastic. She brought so much energy and passion to the experience! Our group of four did the genie room and it was an absolute blast. The puzzle was challenging but totally possible! We finished with 12 seconds to spare. The story line was great, challenging, and funny. Highly recommend for a group of adults.

I've done a couple escape rooms, and this has easily been my favourite experience! My friends had never done an escape room, so we figured the fortune teller room would be a fun part of our vacation. It was challenging enough to have fun and make us think, but was also very accessible for newbies. The experience was absolutely made by the wonderful Jess, who was our guide for the adventure. She did such a good job at making the experience immersive, that we ended up changing our plans so we could come back and do the kidnapped room the next day! I could not recommend these escape rooms more, and we fully plan to come back and attempt the rest!

We took a group of 9 to complete the Arcade Game room and it was a blast! Plenty of interlocking pieces and unique puzzles to challenge people—gamers (especially nostalgic ones) will especially love this room and it’s ambiance. The rating holds true from there website: experienced escapers will find the room easier but it’s a perfect intro for newbies and experienced players to get acquainted. We had Bryce lead our room and they were a blast at creating an entertaining and fun atmosphere—a truly in-character host. Thank you for the experience!

I'm an employee at Portland Escape Rooms! To answer your question fully, we take reservations up to 11:45 the evening before an event. If you book at least 2 weeks in advance and use the promo code 2week20 you will get a 20% discount! We don't take walk-ins but if you call day of we do occasionally have events that haven't booked that we may be able to get you into, but there's no guarantee on availability for those. Hope that helps!

can 2 people play at this location?

Rebekah Horch | Aug 17, 2018

Yep! If you want it to be just the two of you, you may need to purchase the other spots to ensure it's just you guys. Otherwise you may get paired with other people. The rooms are designed to be solved as a group, but some of them are doable for just two people.

Is there an Escape room in portland that takes same day reservations and is under $25?

Cheri Howard | Aug 17, 2018
Portland Escape Rooms | Aug 17, 2018

Typically, no. $30 per person is relatively considered to be the common ground price range between all escape rooms. In reference to the possibility of same-day reservations, due to the nature of the business and bookings escape room companies need to adhere to "All bookings must be done in advance" in order to guarantee adequate break times for their staff. That being said, Combo & Key is $25 per person and can take same-day bookings IF there is enough space for your team; you will need to contact them to see if there are any bookings available. Portland Escape Rooms can also take same-day bookings if you call and ask if there is room for your team, but without a Groupon or the "Book 2 weeks in advance for 20% off " discount, it will be $30-$35 per person.

How many people can do this together? We have a party of 10 who would like to be together. Is this possible?
