Terrible pharmacy coverage They force you to get prescription via online pharmacy The online pharmacy has pathetic web pages. It is almost impossible to register Very disappointed Unfortunately no choice We need single payor system

A friend had Providence insurance in 2019 but canceled at the end of the year. The friend had Walgreens update their insurance to the new provider, and Walgreens had been correctly billing the new provider. However, Walgreens incorrectly billed Providence once in February 2020, and get this, Providence paid on the claim, even though my friend was no longer insured by them. This has to be one of the most simple things at an insurance company. Is the person insured or not. If they can't get that right, how can they be expected to get anything right? Four months later they notified my friend that my friend is responsible for fixing Providence's screw-up. And they have hired a nasty, self-righteous collection agent who is brow beating my friend to get money back. The collector is saying it's not Providence who needs to fix this. Um, what? Providence paid a claim for someone who wasn't using their insurance. And they refuse to talk to Walgreens, when the issue could likely be resolved in a 5 minute call. My friend has spent countless hours trying to resolve this with no luck. Providence is supposed to be a religious based organization, but you can't tell from how they are acting. I'm sure Christ, God, Mary, whomever would be ashamed of Providence and how they represent themselves superficially and then try to screw people behind the scenes. Jesus said beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing. Don't walk away from Providence. Run. Run fast. They don't know what they are doing at the most rudimentary level, and when they mess up, they try to shift the blame to individuals. Get away from them now before you're the next in line for the blame game.

Worst insurance I have ever had in my life. I’m in the process of switching insurance since providence does not care about women’s reproductive rights. Catholic insurance is a joke if you’re a women and you want to have choices over your body don’t choose a company that cares about their oppressive faith more than your health.

My insurance is okay. The doctors in my network are good, some even great. The problem is that Providence Health Plan goes through an EVIL middleman company to cut costs while screwing over patients called EviCore. (Just missing an "L" in the middle!) I was hit on my motorcycle and need physical therapy to continue to be heal and be able to walk. Last year FIVE of my allotted visits were denied by EviCore, and every time I or my provider called them to ask why, as I was getting worse by the day, they lied to our faces. They kept changing their story and ended up telling me 3 different lies, and another to my provider. They blocked me from getting treatment for 3 months (until the year ended) and my ability to walk declined the entire time. I never received the 5 visits that I pay premiums to have access to. I am still in constant pain to this day. I'm looking into other health plan options. This type of behavior is immoral and should be illegal.

I don't have the number on me. Call customer service, their number is on the back of your Providence card, and they can get you the number.

What is the bronze medical plan Providence and what it cover.

Bronze means it’s the lowest tier plan which most likely means you’ll have a high deductible. Only thing that would be covered would be preventive services

I made an appt and attended at an "in network" provider, specifically because they were in the "network". The next morning their office called to let me know that they forgot to tell me about the $180 new client fee in cash. Help.

Always call your insurance to verify if they are truly in network and what your copay would be. Never trust the doctors office. They do not specialize in insurance.
