Beautiful hidden gem in the heart of a quaint town. Perfect for a wedding or weekend get away. I photographed a wedding in July 2022 and was so happy with all Of the options surrounding the space. And the staff was so friendly and helpful!

Not nearly enough charging ports near the bed and they are hidden behind the bedside stands instead of being built into the wall above it. Plus, they are mostly used up by lamps/radio. If there had been more than one person in the room, it would have been hard to charge a lot of devices. The room felt cold at 68, but when I turned it up to 72 it got too warm for my liking during the night. I tried turning the fan on, but I couldn’t hear it running- so I’m not sure if it worked. The norm seems to be cleaning rooms every other day. My dad requested it daily, but it didn’t happen. Super nice/clean big rooms.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting the USA for my sister's wedding. The staff were all super-friendly and attentive. The location is beautiful, the hotel has a rustic charm to it, and in the room we stayed in, we were absolutely BLESSED by the breathtaking, picturesque sunrise! We got to enjoy the wedding rehearsal dinner here as well. The food was fresh, delicious, and the room for the event was very nice. Again, the staff were all lovely, super-friendly, and attentive. They created a very warm, welcoming environment. When we first entered the front doors, there was a nauseatingly overwhelming smell of perfume, and it permeated the 2nd floor as well. Wasn't a huge fan of that. As bad timing would call, it was unfortunate that the elevator was broken at the time. Our room was on the 2nd floor, so that wasn't a problem for myself and my husband. However my father, who was also staying at the hotel, has very bad knees though and it was extremely difficult for him to manage, sadly. I heard that there will be renovations done to the hotel in the near future. I hope that the bathrooms' ventilation gets some much-needed attention. There is definitely an issue with humidity control/ventilation in the bathroom as there were many yellow stains on the ceiling. Also, there were no safety bars by the hot tub or shower. It's extremely dangerous not to have those, I feel. For some smaller things, I wish there was a written list of prices for the minibar/fridge items in the room. I also am surprised that they didn't have a small brochure/pamphlet of things to do locally as all hotels and even motels I've stayed at in the past had them. If I do find myself visiting the area again, I would be happy to stay at the Delafield Hotel again and am excited to see how the renovations turn out.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. Very unique smell (in a good way), room had plenty of space and the spa jet tub and shower with rainfall were amazing. Plenty of great food in the area too!!
