I am Italian, born and raised in the Chicago area. I have had a hard time finding any other Italian restaurant in Wisconsin that can compete with Little Italy. Food is outstanding, atmosphere extremely comfortable, staff very friendly. I am going back. This is the place to go.

Little Italy in Portage, Wisconsin has some of the best food I’ve ever tasted in my 25 years of life. The lasagna was fantastic, the artwork and design of the building were incredible, and the service was one of a kind. The hard work put into the restaurant is evident, and you have to try it for yourself.

A warming place. Environment and location. A nice decorated and clean restaurant with parking on the main strip of Portage. Good location to the highway and is very inviting. Service and atmosphere. The atmosphere was quite and relaxed on a weekday. Plenty of space for groups or couples. The service was fast but our server looked like she had a chip on her shoulder. They did not have a smile or a pleasant attitude, maybe it was the snow. Food and drinks. A vast array of drinks including lots of wines to complement the italian dishes. The wine was good as can be. The food was great for the most part, plenty of taste and flavour. The garlic shrimp was a bit rubbery and the garlic sauce was nothing special. However the Cajun special of the day was rich creamy and worthy of repeat visit. Overall, a perfect place for families of all sizes to go and enjoy some italian flavour.

each time I've been there, they have been so hospitable and sweet. I love their minestrone. They have a veal pasta dish that tops the charts. They make great sauces. really vibing with the wine selection too.
