This turned out to be a great hotel. Clean room, clean facilities, decent breakfast (includes hot items: scrambled eggs and sausage).

We had a group staying at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend for a wedding. Dawn, the manager, was very helpful and gave us a great rate. The hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. The town of Portage looked really cute and we will have to check it out next time.

Positive: The lounge area outside the pool with the lounge chairs! Breakfast was good too. Negative: There was a little bit of a smell on the 2nd floor and the elevator buttons were somewhat broken.

I stayed one night in a double queen room Monday June 13th, 2022. Check in was super fast and easy. I appreciate the guy that helped me get a room closer to my family during this stay (came for a funeral). The customer service here is great! The cleanliness of this hotel on the otherhand, is not the best. My aunts had hairs all over their beds, and each of our 3 rooms smelled mildly like smoke (non-smoking rooms). My room had crumbs on the floor and under the desk looks like it's never been cleaned or dusted. The doors in 2 of the rooms were sticky for some reason, maybe the type of paint? Around 4am, someone was on their phone talking loudly outside of my room, watching something loudly on their phone. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what woke me up. They let their door slam multiple times. The hallway on the 4th floor smelt of weed as soon as we walked through it. 🥞 BREAKFAST 6AM-9AM 🥞 The breakfast was pretty good. They have a good selection of foods to choose from between eggs or sausage, to cereal or toast, etc. They even have a cool pancake making machine!
