Delicious authentic Amish food! They give you dinner rolls and homemade peanut butter to start (which was absolutely phenomenal).The chicken pot pie was really flavorful and the chicken was tender. It was also made with pasta. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and the fries were homemade. You can also see into the kitchen which was really clean. The only negative was that the peanut butter that we bought was a little bit on the expensive side.

This place was alright…we ordered the homemade butter noodles and open face turkey sandwich….and the sandwich was, I kid you not, canned chicken…it was so nasty I couldn’t even eat it. This was the last place that I thought they would use canned chicken but anyways the rolls and peanut butter were really good. The butter noodles had roast beef on it but the roast beef had a sweet gel on it? I don’t know. All around an odd experience

I’ve reviewed before but this place continues to impress!!! I visit Lancaster a few times a year and never miss stopping for breakfast here (lunch/dinner are delish too but I’m all about breakfast) I always order an bacon & cheese omelette, the hubby enjoys the meat lovers omelette … the home fries are amazing as their French toast is too!!! And let’s not forget how delish their strawberry jelly is … if you haven’t tried it you must !!! So here it goes based on my March 2022 trip … I’m a Long Island girl, and you know NY is known for their bagels … most places outside of NY don’t stand a chance but during my last trip I ordered their bagel breakfast sandwich … all I can say is WOW! who would have thought … it was amazing and I even joked that I could’ve ate a second one lol Katie’s Kitchen does not disappoint, can’t wait to be there again in a couple weeks !!!

Katie’s Kitchen is the very best. From their peanut butter spread with homemade rolls, to every item on their menu, this is the best food in Lancaster county. This was our second trip to the area, and we found ourselves eating at Katie’s over and over again. The food is fresh and delicious; breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are super nice and the entire experience is great. They even allow you to get smaller portions of each meal for $2.00 less. We will definitely be back, and I can’t wait!!!

We ate there a few weeks ago and they did not have masks on but that didn't bother me any. I was not afraid to be there
It's not a buffet it's just a small restaurant. If you want a diner there is one down the road on 30 going east I believe it's called the Route 30 Diner it's one of those silver colored diners from the 50th on the side of the road you can't miss it you can go there. Or if you want something quaint but it still has a buffet or you can order off the menu like you would in a diner, try Dienners Family Restaurant also on Route 30 near Miller's. I recommend getting there as early as you can they are very popular. Excellent food Amish run you will love it.

We actually like Shady Maple and Dienner's better than Miller's and Yoder's. Others love Yoder's. Just depends on what you're looking for. Can't wait to check out Katie's Kitchen next time we're down that way.
