I had never been to Miller's and I have heard so much about the great Pennsylvania Dutch home cooking of the restaurant. Being born and raised in Lancaster, but since having moved away, I thought it was time to go since we were meeting friends from NC and they were touring the area. I had bragged about this being great home cooking. I certainly would not call this home cooking. First trip was to the soup bar for homemade chicken corn soup. There was mostly broth, no eggs or no rivvels(small flour like dumplings) and small chunks of chicken . Decided to try potato soup. .. watered down. Most of the food I tried on buffet was lukewarm. Carving station had beef, turkey and ham. Turkey and ham were good but beef was tough. Chicken pot pie had small pieces of chicken with mostly broth and carrots... noodles (not sure if they were home made)..certainly not like I'm used to. Italian sausage with marinara sauce, shrimp and other such items...definitely not comfort food . Fried chicken was ok. Again, most of what I tried was not hot. Most of the food we tried should have been hotter. Creamed cabbage was good but there were very hard pieces . Potatoe filling and homemade mashed potatoes would have been good if hot. Then to dessert for bread pudding which was good but again not warm enough. And where was the shoo fly pie? Beverages are extra at $2.99. The cost of the buffet is $27.99 per person. Quite steep for the quality of food. And on top of this we waited for 1 hr. So I would suggest reservations. Our server was friendly and efficient. I think this restaurant has turned into a "Tourist Trap" as I have heard from friends and family in the past that this was the best smorgasbord around.

Everyone here was super polite. I remember coming here as a kid and now I had the pleasure of bringing my kids here. All of the food was delicious! The store was very clean, and did I mention the food was delicious!? My family and I cannot wait to make a another trip out here soon!

Beautiful environment! I have gone to shady maple and Millers is much more quieter and elegant. I can see why some would prefer Millers, the ambiance is unique. They have mastered a grand buffet but with an elegant atmosphere. All of the food was delicious. Waiter was amazing and attentive but not overly inquisitive. Will definitely go back to eat. However, the wine shop, which I was interested in was open. I opened the door and the lady working behind the counter yelled out, extremely loud, that they were closed. Very unprofessional to scream out like that in front of people. Next time, lock the door. We were there 2/18/22, at 4:45 and waited for over 1.5 hours. Make a reservation to avoid that.

We've been coming down here for years and I don't know that we've eaten here before. We stayed over night - which is rare since we are only a couple of hours away - so this was lunch/dinner on our way out of town. BUT I guarantee this will be the first stop on our agenda next time we visit. The Smorgasbord was amazing - carved meats, chicken and waffles,, hot sides, soups and salads of all kinds... then there's dessert if you have any room left! I was sorry I wasn't hungrier when we arrived as I would have liked to sample more, but the one thing that I loved that I never had before was baked cabbage - so good. Definitely a must visit when you are in the area! They move people through pretty efficiently and the food area is spread out so you aren't really tripping over each other. Very nice set up.

Yes you can, it would be helpful especially for bigger sized parties
Hi, Herb. Yes, we are open for indoor dining, but are currently not taking reservations. Walk-ins are definitely welcome! We are offering the buffet and you will serve yourself. Gloves and deli paper are available for you to handle the serving utensils. We have a "route" outlined on the floor that moves diners in one direction and ask that they properly social distance. There is ample hand sanitizer throughout the restaurant and near the buffet. Masks must be worn at all times except when seated to eat your meal. You may read more about the additional restaurant modifications and safety here: https://www.millerssmorgasbord.com/menus/safety-guidelines-and-modified-restaurant-practices/ If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
ACTUALLY -- they have a great salad bar and, while not at all related to gluten free, a vegetarian buffet wherein you might find some more gluten- free options than you would at other smorgasbords.
I would consider it more a buffet than a diner. Though they have a limited menu.
I think it is $24.95 a person
$25.49 for adults Note: Children over 11years of age are charged the price of an adult
