I am a Marriott owner and I have been very disappointed with the poor state of cleanliness of the Marriott hotel rooms I have stayed in in the last 2 years. Last year, there was blood stained sheets on the bed and an uncleaned refrigerator. Our reservation at the Marriott Residence Inn in Lancaster PA has dirty trash cans, one with a dirty diaper. Dirty linen and pillows, and a refrigerator I had to wipe out. I had to take a dirty mattress cover to housekeeping and inspect the pillows because one was stained and there were no extra pillow cases. Because of these issues, it made me feel the whole room was dirty. Yet, I am being charged full price points for a half clean room. It's very disappointing to see a 5-star brand lose its credibility because of it's declining quality. It especially makes me feel that I can no longer recommend the Marriott as a 5-star accommodation.

Totally enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Room was spacious and clean with modern decor. Friendly staff from the moment we arrived throughout the entire visit. Great amenities including exercise room, indoor pool, patio with fire pit, etc. Conveniently adjacent to Starbucks, Miller's Ale House, Wegman's, etc.

Thank you Residence Inn Lancaster for a truly amazing stay! We stayed with them during an extended work assignment and must say the staff and other guests made us feel like we were at home, not at a hotel! The location is great, the rooms spacious, the beds comfortable, but it was the countless small things that each of the staff members would do on a daily basis that added up to the best stay! We would definitely recommend you stay at the Residence Inn Lancaster. Oh, and your fur babies will agree as they are wonderful at spoiling them as well!
