Well, here it goes. While everyone has their opinions of 1 star or 5 star, I'm going to go ahead with a 3 star. While I can't believe this hotel has the CHOICE name attached to it, I would stay again because the room was clean. From the outside the place looks abandoned, haunted, it needs a major renovation. I've stayed at other Choice hotels that started the breakfasts again after COVID. The reservation lady said it was available, but when we checked it we were told it is not because of COVID. No big deal but had it been available, I don't know if I would have trusted it. The front desk was nice, the room was clean. The beds were doubles so they seem small compared to other beds. They were comfortable than other places I've stayed. Let's face it, there isn't a bed that will pass "our home bed" test, but these were not bad. Some of the sockets do not work as mentioned in other posts. The bathroom light would flicker on and off occasionally, and one of the room lamps randomly went off but came back on a few minutes later. Cosmetically the place looks haunted and abandoned. We stayed in the building with the office so I have no idea what the other part looks like on the inside. The price was great. The cops and the coroner were there since 3am the morning we woke up, on the side we didn't stay in. I have no idea what happened. If you are looking for a 3-5 star hotel this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep for a cheap price, this would work.

A little bit overpriced, mostly clean, I gave the low ratings because of the housekeeper knocked on my door at 10:00 and asked me if I needed housekeeping and if I was going to check out today or not. I got here at 2:00 a.m. I did not need someone knocking on my door at 10:00 a.m. I have until 11:00 a.m. for check out. And there was not a do not disturb tag you can hang on the outside of the door. The point of me paying all this money was so that I could be comfortable and non-disturbed until 11:00 a.m. . That was unacceptable.

Terrible. It’s ancient, dark, not maintained, and I wish I could give it zero stars I had no other choice but to stay there. Around 11:30 pm, after laying in bed for 15 minutes, I got up to brush my teeth and when I came back I saw a small bug near my pillow. It kind of looked like a baby bedbug, but I wasn’t positive. While I was examining it, I saw something else run across the bed. I killed it, it was definitely an adult bedbug. I pulled the sheet away from the wall and found 3 more. I started getting dressed to leave, and during that time 2 more came out onto the bed. I demanded a refund, the front desk woman came in and took pictures. She gave me a hard time about the refund, even suggesting that I might have brought them in in my luggage! I had to sit in my car in their creepy parking lot and call Choice Hotels (they were great and refunded me right away). After that, I had to drive 5 hours back to upstate NY in the pouring rain in the middle of the night. When I got home, I started washing all my stuff that had been in that room (it was bagged up in garbage bags in my trunk). As I was sorting through my stuff, I saw it...a giant bed bug that had come home with me. I’m completely disgusted and I’ll be filing a formal complaint after I get some sleep.

This Motor Inn was old but it didn't show where it counted, the room's and the daily up keep was great and very friendly!! Check in and the stay were great, great FRIENDLY service!! The price was good the rooms clean, I know Choice Hotels owns many hotels on the strip of RT 30, but this one compared to the last was day and night! My Beautiful Condo is ready and I am glad my little vacation is over but the Rodeway Inn helped that last leg of my wait worth the wait! I honestly give the Hotel 5 stars!!

If you go through Booking.com or Orbitz depending on when you are staying, pick free cancellation, and you wont have to make a deposit.
Not sure. Contact choicehotels.com and that should help you.
I was able to cancel my reservation before 4:00 pm but i believe that was on the day i wss arriving. But i booked through the Choice Hotels web site bc I'm a Gold Rewards member so I'm not sure if it's earlier. The web site will give you cancellation instructions and time.
