My kids loved biz town more than any camp they’ve ever done!

Served as adult volunteer coordinator for my grandson's class at BizTown day. The facility was impressively structured and laid out, the staff were highly prepared and pleasant in directing the children through their day, and the activities - while complex - were at an appropriate level of challenge/success for fifth graders. I would happily participate again. Good volunteer parking is provided.

I wouldn’t have had exposure to a place like this if it weren’t for my employer encouraging us to participate as part of the Community Reinvestment Act. That being said, I hope to donate my time for this every year! Working with the kids was amazingly fun and fulfilling! I will encourage others to do this as well.

My kids had a great time at BizTown. I only wish it weren't a 60-90 minute one-way drive to get here, or we'd be VERY tempted to enroll in one of the summer camps.

Thanks for your question! Upper-elementary classrooms participating in our JA BizTown program either run an election or the students apply and the teachers choose.
