Lived in Riverbend Apts in Salem. Property manger was Crown management when I first moved in. When management changed they never sent out a new contract to sign. Takes up to 2 weeks for the onsite manager to ever get back to you. Property manager at Norris and Stevens is basically never in the office and even when you leave a voicemail they never get back to you. Gave my 30 day notice before moving out 1.5 month prior. Vacated the apt before my 30 days and contacted the on site manager to figure out what to do with the keys cause I wasn't given any move out instructions, never got a reply back so I threw them out. Once I received my security deposit check I saw that they charged me 3 days of the next month as well as a late charge. When I called Karen regarding these issues, she kept bringing up Oregon Law but not showing any proof on the lease regarding move out instructions. When I asked why I wasn't notified of having a bill to pay she states "why didn't you call?". Sorry, but how should I know that they would add three days to the date I already told them I would be out by, then not notify me of such while also not answering my calls. Then I let her know before I moved out i checked the website where I pay rent and there was nothing there. Karen proceeds to say "it wouldn't have been up cause you checked before the end of the month and it wouldn't have been posted cause you didn't live there anymore". Again, how am I supposed to know then? Horrible management and horrible apartment. Zero stars if it was possible.

Absolutely horrible company! They do not care about what you have going on or what you need help with. They denied me due to a bad rental reference, without even calling or talking to my rental references and how do they take care of their problems you ask? Why just write them a physical letter, how could it get more degrading, don’t email or call like a normal human being because they want to put as much time between you and them. All they want is to make sure of is that they can pocket all of your money in a timely manner and not deal with you DO NOT RENT from these people

This company never does what they say they are going to do. I was supposed to be getting a new sliding glass door “with in 30 days of moving in “ it’s almost been a Year! They keep threatening me with violations for parking! I called corporate office to resolve a situation they are rude on the phone, nobody calls you back. They act like bully’s! This place sucks! Not Professional at all. Cheapskates.

Terrible company to work with.. I started doing jobs for them a little over a year ago and did several jobs over a couple months. A couple months in I had to put scheduling on hold due to nonpayment… about 6 months later they finally got most of the bills paid but at this point it’s been almost a year and I still never received payment for the last invoice I submitted to them. I’ve emailed and spoken to several people within the company, each time they are fairly rude and accusing towards me like I had done something wrong. I had to threaten with a lawyer to get the last couple payments and still didn’t get the last payment. Anyone who is looking at renting from or working with this company, check all of your options.. this company will most definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth in little to no time. It won’t be worth it whatever the venture is.. it’s never profitable to get paid next year after spending money and time doing work for someone. Also, have to say, never had a tenant of theirs say anything good about the company either.

I'm sorry for you, I am going through the same types of things. I have a neighbor who is terrorizing me and management won't do anything about it. My toilets don't function properly, the stove is a joke and the refrigerator is something out of 1937. This is just wrong.
When payment is dropped off in person the date is noted, however our systems catalog the date of deposit. Our managers make daily deposits every business day. If a check was dropped off after 5pm, it will then be deposited the next business day. If you notice a longer delay between when you dropped off payment and the deposit date, please contact our corporate office at 503.223.3171 so we can address the issue.
