The hotel itself is nice and in a good location. However, the service is non-existent. It started with me calling the hotel to secure a late check-in due to traffic. Twice I was put on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up and trying later. When I called the 3rd time and was asked to hold, I said "NO" I will not hold any longer, just wanted to secure a late check-in. The lady was rude. When we finally arrived at 1045pm, their computer system was down and it took 30 minutes of rifling through papers to get a room. The next morning in the lobby, there was nobody at the desk and nobody at the Starbucks/Breakfast counter, even though it was supposed to open an hour earlier. There were people just walking up and helping themselves, taking food and drinks out of the refrigerator! We had to walk down the street to another coffee shop just to get coffee. And I paid for this?? Come check-out, again nobody at the desk. People finally just gave up trying to checkout and threw their keycards into a bucket. I have NEVER seen such a deserted hotel lobby, devoid of any employees, while the guests just rummage around and take what they want! I feel ripped off since I paid for a certain level of service and basically received none. Lucky for Marriott I'm not a thief like so many others.

The total was $593. Taxes charged almost $200 more. The website promotes a large breakfast buffet which we paid $70 extra to have included in our stay. When we went to get the breakfast there was no buffet just rinky dinky Starbucks. When we asked the clerk he said that $70 covers 1 hot meal and 1 cold. There is 3 of us. The main reason we booked this hotel was they also promote room service. Nope. No room service here. For the amount of money we paid for 2 NIGHTS we are extremely disappointed. We will not be back and we will be letting as many people know as we can. 10/10 do not reccomend! Don't waste your money.

They were not serving complementary coffee like the site said the bathrooms had mold on time and the carpets were torn up. The room coffee machine did not work and the out door hot tub light would flicker on and off. I the towels where never there is in the pool area. Never again

All Marriott's have Gov't and military pricing. Not sure on the retired piece. Definitely not a dumpy hotel. Was there 2 weeks ago and very impressed.
