Nice trail of shadows loop. Do not just pass this by on the way to the mountain top. Good alternative if upper road is closed, limited or you are arriving late to the park.

Love the trails around this park and the grounds itself! Lots of neat buildings and the museum is fun! We live nearby so we like to stop in every now and then just to explore different trails.

Beautiful spot for snow shoeing. Many trails to choose from. Get here early as parking spots fill up.

The information center does not sell products, but there is a gift shop in Longmire that should have isobutane.
Hello! Unfortunately it's not that easy to to go to longtime. You will need chains for any vehicle to enter the state park. We rented chains back in town for 25 dollars. Then there is a fee to enter the park. 30 dollars or 55 for a yearly pass. It was are first time going and bought the 55 dollar bundle. Definitely going back every weekend till we reach the top. Uber is not cheap for round trip. There is no cell service in that location too! So I hope I was helpful in answering your questions.
