We had an INCREDIBLE experience here! Our room was perfect and clean when we got there, the water temperature and pressure were great. They do have a great tv provider so the channel selection is awesome as well. Directly outside of this hotel is one of the absolute BEST Mexican American food restaurant I've ever been too. The shrimp tacos were definitely 5 out of 5 stars. Although we chose to drive an extra 30 minutes to Top Sail Island and Surf City, we genuinely loved staying in Jacksonville. 5/5 we will DEFINITELY be staying here again once the summer rates go down.

Positive: I didn't really have a very pleasant experience. First the parking was terrible due to a bar above the hotel. There were people gathered outside of our door until about 11:30 and the people in the above room banged and spoke loudly until about 2 am. Negative: We had to get up at 4 am for an event in Swansboro so I didn't get much over 2 hours of sleep. When I said something to the owner/manager, there was no empathy or We're sorry you had a poor experience. No acknowledgement of our situation.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The girl with red hair that worked on 6/9/2022 was absolutely awful. She was so rude, used cuss words towards me because the room door wouldn’t open. Rude to my grandmother who booked the room a month in advance and paid for it in full online at the same time. Now the room…filthy and uncomfortable. Each bed got three baby sized pillows and three of the thinnest blankets possible. The bathroom was definitely not cleaned in between customers because there was hair all over the floor and tub. Found dead bugs in the room as well. Try to avoid if you can!!!

When I booked at this location, I didn’t know that it was through a third party until I arrived on 4/22/2022 at 1:00 pm. The front desk young lady had a smart mouth and was very sarcastic and was going to charge me an early check in fee of almost $40. We decided to go shopping in to look around until 3:00. I couldn’t get the regular room rate or a senior discount because of booking through the 3rd party. The room was dusty and you could see it on the lamps, the floor was filthy also.The second day, we went to the beach all day to come back to unmade beds and no clean towels or wash cloths. I went to the office to ask why that was and I had to deal with another smart mouthed young girl after I told her that it was ridiculous that the beds were not made in which she responded “Well you can just check out”! I was very calm and professional and asked for clean towels and wash clothes but I wanted to speak with the manager. She left the office and came back with towels and wash cloths and I still requested to speak with the manager, she called him as I was listening and she said “I told her that”.. I don’t know if she was referring to her telling me that I could check out or they don’t clean the rooms and supply clean towels or wash cloths. I wanted to speak with Mr.Al Patel but he wouldn’t speak with me the customer. I have never ever been treated this way at any establishment that I ever stayed at. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE..I WILL BE TAKING THIS ISSUE TO CORPORATE.I TRAVELED TOO FAR TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS MESS ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE THAT I PAID FOR TO HORRIBLE DAYS!
