This is my go to spot for recycling. The staff are friendly and helpful, the price paid is always competitive, and the location is convenient. Bring your stuff pre-sorted and you will have a quick, easy experience!

I went there for the first time today and it’s the cleanest, best organized recycling center I've seen. The employees are very helpful and efficient as well.

This place is so efficient! The staff is kind and friendly. My Grandson LOVE coming here to recycle our cans and bottles. The guys are always kind to them and let them stand on the scale, etc. The guy who hands out the money at the window always indulges us when we whisper to give the Grandsons $5 each out of the total. The kids love him! :)

Hi, We can recycle old bicycles but we don't pay for them, as they have a low scrap value.
Thanks for checking. We can take cardboard bales, or a small quantity of loose, flattened boxes. No Styrofoam packaging. We don't pay (and don't charge a fee) for the loose boxes.
No. It's a CRV (bottles and cans) center only
Hi, For prices on wires / copper / aluminum etc, it's better to call, as the price depends on specific type of wires / metals, and prices fluctuate with the market... Please call us at 805-987-0226. Thanks!
Hi, We don't handle "large" steel items, but if you take it apart, we can recycle smaller pieces of metal. (We do handle mostly non-ferrous metals.)
Hi, No we don't.
Unfortunately no. Perhaps Home Depot can do that, or the Household Hazardous Waste Program through the city.
Unfortunately we don't recycle textile, and not sure if any place in the area does... There may be drop boxes at some shopping centers.
Hi Richard, Thanks for checking. We don't handle much steel, but if it's not bulky, we can recycle it for you. It's preferable if you bring it in the middle of the week (as opposed to Saturdays or Mondays). Thanks.
CRV plastic #1 is $1.27 per pound. Aluminum cans are $1.65 per pound. For non-ferrous scrap, it's best to call us.
Unfortunately, we don't.
Hi Neicy, No, we don't recycle wood products. Only cans, bottles and non-ferrous metals. Try California Wood Recycling.
Hi Robin, We can take broken down boxes, up to about 25 boxes. They can be loose. No packaging. (We can also take cardboard baled in a baler machine.)
Unfortunately, no catalytic converters.
Thanks for checking. We can take small quantities of loose boxes. They should be flattened, and no packaging. (We can also take cardboard bales from companies.)
Hi Barbara, I believe you can take mattresses to Del Norte Transfer Station in Oxnard or Gold Coast Recycling in Ventura. You can also try using the trash service "bulky item" pick up option.
Thanks for the inquiry. We don't take appliances, but we can take power cords (and any kind of wire).
Sorry, no styrofoam. You can try Astrofoam for solid styrofoam.
Sorry, we don't take oxygen sensors
Unfortunately we don't take magazines.
Yes, we do
Yes, we take all non-ferrous metals!
They don't take cardboard there I'm not sure where they do
It's usually best to call for up-to-date prices. But currently, the CRV prices are: Aluminum cans: $1.63 up to $1.70 / lb Plastic #1: $1.26 / lb Glass: $0.104 / lb
The men who work here are very helpful and pleasant
They accept them for recycling but don't pay for them
Yes 9-5
We take all CRV bottles
Thanks for checking. We don't take a lot of steel. If it's just one item, we can take it. If it's a lot, we can't.
Denise is correct... Plastic and cans need to be sorted, and they could be flattened if you want to save space (but not required). Regarding cardboard, we can take BALED cardboard, or loose, flattened boxes up to 100 lbs.
No. They take and pay for copper, aluminum, brass, bottles and cans.
Yes
Thanks for checking. Sorry, we don't take mattresses. Try Del Norte Transfer Station: 805-385-8060. Not sure if they take a sleep-number mattress...
Thanks for checking. Unfortunately, we don't handle much appliances, and we can't process the freon from the refrigerator, so we can't take it. Your trash service can possibly pick it up from you.
Unfortunately no paint cans. Some paint stores can take it.
Thanks for checking. If it's a small frame, then we can recycle it, although we don't pay for steel. (We only pay for non-ferrous metals.)
We take cardboard bales, and loose/flattened cardboard in small quantities.
Sorry. No mirrors. Only glass bottles are recyclable.
