Dirty, rundown, and does not feel safe. We booked this hotel through a booking sight and all the pictures made it look decent but nothing fancy. When we arrived the lady working at the front desk was nice and gave us our room keys only for us to have to return to the front desk and ask for a new room. The room was dirty with visible dirt and dust everywhere, broken toilet paper holder, ice bucket, and window curtains. There was water damage on the wall by the door and there were hand and finger prints all over the walls and door. There was lots of visible mold in the bathroom and all the metal fixtures were rusting. We asked for another room and the second was as bad as the first with an addition of smelling terrible. We went back to the office and asked for our money back and went elsewhere. I didn't feel comfortable staying here with our young son. Very disappointed.

The price isn't bad, they offer a continental breakfast, and the bed is nice...THAT'S IT!!! But, the cleanest of the room and property is AWFUL!!! Trash running out of the trash cans, the floors in the room doesn't appear to have been mopped SINCE...FOREVER, the walls are DISGUSTING, the air conditioner is FULL OF DUST (that's AWFUL for my allergies), I have to prop chairs at the door for added security, you have to hunt for a place to plug in the coffee maker (the coffee in the room is...YUCK)!! I came to Jacksonville to spend time with my granddaughter for her birthday. But, I WILL NEVER CONSIDER STAYING HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Taking a shower is frustrating...the drain stops up!!! UUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!!! I ONLY GAVE 2 STARS BECAUSE OF THE PRICE!!!!!!!

Filthy! No exaggeration. First room had dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door, shampoo bottle without a cap left turned over on vanity (puddle of shampoo), hair everywhere (even inside microwave...please explain that one), coat of dirt and dust on every surface and the room smelt of sour milk. Given second room and it was only slightly better. We had to unplug the refrigerator to get to sleep. The floors had not been sweep/vacuumed/swiffered? We had just driven 10 hours so looking for another motel at 8:00 on a Saturday night in a rain storm was not what we wanted to do. According to the front desk the manager doesn't come in until 10 and the owner until 11 so unloading on the desk clerk wasn't going to give us any satisfaction. From what we experienced first hand and by the looks of the rooms and the exterior obviously someone doesn't care about their guest....period! We won't ever go back and won't recommend Baymont to anyone while it is owned by the current owner.

Would give 0 stars. The only upside was the lady's at the front desk where nice and helpful, but everything else was wrong. The rooms where gross and uncleaned. Dirt on the floors broken lights no trash can and someone else's used towels on the rack. It looks like they made the bed and gave the room out. Avoid any all costs. The pictures that are posted are very misleading. Do not stay there.
