I went to JP automotive to get an estimate for the leaking rear main seal on my truck. I was told that I was wrong, charged well over $200 dollars for an oil pressure sensor I didn't need and nothing got fixed. Fast forward 6 months and the sensor I didn't need FELL OUT of the motor on interstate 5. My gut feeling with this place was that they knew that sensor wasn't the original issue and my feelings were confirmed a couple years later when one of my best friends from my youth, went to work there as a tech. Guess what? He didn't last a month before he quit. Guess why? Yep...DISHONEST practices with their customers.RUN don't WALK...

After having my car problems misdiagnosed twice at other shops, Brandon at JP Automotive went above and beyond to figure out what was going on. They saw my car immediately that day, fixed it within two, and called to update me and answer my constant questions. As someone who doesn't know much about cars, I did not feel talked down to and Brandon was great about clearly explaining their diagnosis and what work they have done. I am so impressed by this experience, and will definitely be back for any car problems in the future!!

Tl;dr very poor customer service, tried to give me the run-around instead of helping. I purchased an RV from a family whose recently passed away father had spent years restoring. Upon the purchases, they were kind enough to provide me all of the recent work receipts that had been performed on the vehicle, including hundreds of dollars of service from JP last summer. Since the main issue I wanted checked on the RV (transmission gaskets) was something they had just serviced in the past year, I thought it would be best to bring the RV to them as they had quite a bit of experience with it and would hopefully be able to diagnose any issues much more quickly than a shop that had never seen it before. I called to book an appointment and was told it would be about two weeks before they could get to it as they were backed up, and I said no problem, I'd drop it off and of they could get to it sooner, great, and if not I'd rather wait since they were already familiar with it. No phone call the next day so I was sure to follow up with an email to make sure they had my contact info. About a week went by and no word so I called to confirm they had my info, all good there and no word of any delays. At the end of two weeks still had received zero contact from JP so I asked how the progress was going. They informed me that it had not been touched and they could not tell be when they would get to it. I asked them to clarify that they had told be two weeks and now were telling me essentially that they would not give me any indication of when it would even enter their shop. The service manager said correct, he would not give me any kind of date even after telling me two weeks to start looking at it. Feeling like I had to cut my losses as they were just waiting my time by then, I picked it up and had it quickly repaired elsewhere. I still can't believe they would give me the run around and waste both of our time instead of being straight with me.

Researched the causes of my AC going out and had a price range for repair in my head before going in to JP Automotive. I was fully prepared to go on the defensive, but was pleasantly surprised when they quoted me below what I expected, gave me a loaner car for the day, and washed my car before calling to say it was ready. These guys go above and beyond for their customers!
