PARENTS BEWARE!!! DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO RENT HERE!!! COLLEGE STUDENTS BEWARE!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! My daughter SIGNED her lease for a furnished apt on July 14th 2022. We live in Oklahoma but she goes to school in Charlotte NC and this will be her first time living off campus. Today (July 21st 2022), the apt staff told my daughter that they were out of the furnished apts and that she would have to take an unfurnished apt instead. Mind you, she SIGNED A LEASE ON JULY 14th for a furnished apt and not once did they say they didn’t have any furnished units available. My daughter freaked out thinking she wouldn't have a place to say when she got back to school at the end of August so she asked them what she could do. They told her that all she could do was sign another lease for an unfurnished apt and that she had to do it right then or else she wouldn’t have an apt. when she got back to school because they were also running out of the unfurnished apts. THEY TRICKED MY CHILD INTO SIGNING ANOTHER LEASE WHEN THE ORIGINAL ONE WAS LEGALLY BINDING AND THEY HAD NO RIGHT TO CHANGE IT JUST BECAUSE THEY MESSED UP! We can’t afford to furnish an apt. So now my daughter is going to be over 1,300 miles away from home without any furniture when school starts! Way to go arcadia student living! You really make it a point to treat college students traveling far from home like they’re nothing! You best believe that this momma bear has already reached out to an attorney and you WILL BE HEARING FROM ME PERSONALLY AS SOON AS YOUR OFFICE OPENS UP AT 8:30am!

posting so that new renters are aware of this horrible complex I signed a lease with Arcadia Student Living for a 4x4 in Dogwood for the 2021-2022 school year. From the start, management told my roommates and I we would have to move into a 5x5 instead. So the price went from $670 to $700 with the added fee for a furnished apartment. We let it go because we had really high hopes for the complex. Upon arrival the apartment already had a fifth roommate living there who had completely decorated the place and also had a dog. Which was not mentioned prior to move in. The place was disgusting, in no way ready for move in. The manager Kristie told us she went to every room in every building before hand to make sure it was cleaned, obviously a complete lie. Below, I will show the apartment on the day of arrival. Throughout our time at Arcadia, we had roaches, ants, and just constant filth regardless of how much we cleaned. We were constantly congested and getting sick from the amount of hair and dust everywhere. they claim to change the filters every month but this is yet another lie! I could go on and on about this complex but here are the basics - Absolutely filthy - Horrible management and response time - Staff will message you all the time & seems to have a hard time separating personal and professional language - $40 parking spaces that is NOT worth it because others will park there anyway! and limited visitors parking - Ridiculous fees for literally anything - Anyone can rent here, it says “student living” but if a 40 year old man applied to live in an apartment with all girls he could do so - Gate entrance works maybe 60% of the time - Amenities that you are paying for are not even open for majority of the lease - This complex only cares about profiting off renter, not about the actual human being living there. Parents & students please be aware of this horrible horrible complex.

POLICE IS THERE EVERY WEEKEND. Place is dirty, unsafe and management will not refund your money. Stay away if you love your children.

I absolutely LOVE this apartment complex! It's so beautiful and the amenities are GREAT! They have a huge onsite gym, a sauna, tanning bed, fire & BBQ pit, jacuzzi and pool area for all their residents. The rooms are big, each with their own bathrooms and A/C units so you can control the temperature in your own room. And the rooms are beautifully furnished! They pay for water, internet, and give each roommate a $25 credit towards electricity. No parking fee! And you don't have to be a student to rent here! The only down side is if you choose a unit with 4 roommates, they only supply one fridge and limited cabinet space, but we make it work!

Yes, you don't even have to be a student technically.
