This restaurant was by far the most delicious I have found in Charlotte!!! The food was full of so much FLAVOR!!!!! It was absolutely delicious!!!!!! The owners and chef were so sweet ! I will most definitely be coming back !!!! I can’t wait to try more items on the menu! I had the flank steak with the rice and yucca fries! ( fries were so tender and soft!)

What an amazing experience my boyfriend and I had at Papi’s. Such a friendly staff from once you walk into the door until it’s time to leave . When you first walk in they give you a table with a name of somewhere in Puerto Rico “we got Guaynabo” and it gives you facts about that specific place .the decorations were awesome and had such a personal touch ! The bathroom was so cool with the “Coqui” touch . Pictured here is the food we ate . The coffee tasted like a cafecito that your Tia makes on the island . The food was cooked with so much love “literally reminded me of my mothers/sisters cooking”. And that guava cheesecake was so delicious and was worth every bite ! I can say that we made new friends/family in charlotte “the the band Sublime were amazing !!!!” Thank you TikTok for showing us this amazing restaurant and PLEASE everyone and anyone go check out Papis !!!! From the moment you step in, the lady at the entrance is really nice and welcoming making you feel at home. They have a different way of ordering, basically you order first and have a sit and then wait for the food to arrive at your table; so don't be surprised or worried by that. Their portions are generous and their piña colada is very tasty. Things to order: 1-Chuleta Kan Kan with Maduros y Tostones or Arroz con Guandules (if you are relly hungry, this won't disappoint because it is massive!!) 2-Mofongo con Carne Frita 3-Mofongo con Camaron 4-Piña colada (only $7 bucks, you can't go wrong with that)

My husband and I came here for the “mofongo con carne frita”. It did not disappoint!! Yummm We also ordered a “pastel de carne de cerdo”. It could have used more seasoning. Service and atmosphere were good 😊. We went for a late lunch on a Saturday.
