A little disappointed at this place. Oysters were good but pricey. Some of them barely had any meat in it and it cost 2.5-4.5 dollars each. The salmon was a little dry even though I asked for medium..the good thing is that they valid parking ticket so you don’t need to spend another 15 dollars parking. Overall, an ok restaurant.

Hostess wasn't very welcoming, server made up for it. Food was good but presentation needs work. Lobster roll good but fries lacked salt and were cold. Grilled oysters were really good. Shrimp and grits yummy and most filling. It would have been nice to have bread as a starter and a more extensive menu.

We made reservations for our anniversary dinner and had high expectations based on reviews, and photos etc. We were seated immediately on arrival which was a great sign. That pretty much was the end of the 5 star service. Our server, younger guy, was so unwelcoming it just ruined my night. He behaved like just coming over to take our order or answering a question was the biggest inconvenience. Easily the worst service experience I’ve ever had and especially a shame since it was on such a special occasion. The oysters were great and drinks were decent. The calamari was good also. The entrees were ok but lacked flavor. The lobster roll was filled with lobster mush and lump lobster sat on the top. The best thing on the plate was the green tomato relish under the catfish. It was so bright and seriously elevated the dish. The pot de crème was nothing special and just added to the overall lacking theme of the evening. We still tipped the server 20% because I don’t believe in withholding gratuity when service workers aren’t paid a liveable wage, but it was in no way a reflection of his service. I would suggest a few things if the establishment cares to improve- 1. Don’t ask about special occasions on the reservation form if you don’t care to acknowledge or act on such. 2. Educate and coach your team members on appropriate service behavior. It’s a disappointment to spend money on a terrible experience. My date’s experience was summed up as “meh, we’ve had better”.

Tried Sea Level for Queen’s Feast a few months back and the entire dinner experience here was great! I started with the some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had, followed by a fantastic bowl of shrimp and grits. Their entire menu looked amazing - will definitely be returning to Sea Level for some great seafood in right in Uptown!

Always a good idea if it's a game night or if there's an event at the Spectrum Center, but otherwise you should be fine!
He is right about that. You also have other options such as Yelp to leave reviews.
