Just purchased 2013 Toyota Prius drove from Florida to Seattle. Noticed a small nick on outer wall of tire. Made appointment to have professionals at Costco tire Covington WA safety check. Expected to be up sold needing 4 new tires. Surprise!!! All tires lots of tread and nothing of concern as nick on outer wall just cosmetic. Zero charge 20 minutes start to finish. All tires air pressure checked. Costco membership always a smart investment. We were treated like royalty with highest concern for our safety not the up sell. I always buy tires and batteries there and this treatment is why.

The worst service and biggest waste of my time was this place I love Costco but the tire guys have no idea what there doing. made a appointment two weeks out just to have them up the price and then refuse the service and instead of admitting they made a mistake they tried to blame it on a person that doesn’t work there , the workers name and pictures are on the wall ps an Apology goes along way I didn’t even get that!!!

To Louis and Colton I ordered tires online, then called Costco phone number to make an appointment to mount them on my new wheels that are not on the car (easier for them since they are going on a different car so they are just in the trunk). I specially asked on the phone if they can mount non Costco tires (ive done this every 6 months for all the cars I buy, I take them to Costco but never this one, this location was my first), he tells me yes. I decide to pack everything in my car and drive half an hour to Costco, drop the wheels off, then proceeded to front desk. Colton was introduced and he wasn’t very friendly, seemed like he hated his job. Tells me that they can’t mount it after he checks them, calls supervisor and he said the same, which is Louis. I told them specifically my side and is there anyway they can honor what they specifically said, they denied it. I wasted 2 hours of my day, yet alone waiting for my appointment all day to mount these on my car, then get a door slammed in front of my face. Not very happy with how this was taken care of. Costco, you guys are great, but please select either better people to work at tires or please make sure everyone knows the policies of their own department correctly. Have lost my business in the tire department, and my family and friends as well.
